Ms. Watkins passed away at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 3, 2018 at her home.
She was born August 5, 1953, at West Plains, Missouri, to Larry Max Watkins and Betty Jo O’Dell Watkins. Tre’sa loved her animals and supported no kill shelters, enjoyed the outdoors and reading.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Watkins, Springfield, Missouri, one sister, Anita Noennig and husband, Allen, Springfield, Missouri; two brothers, Jack Watkins, West Plains, Missouri and Gary Watkins and wife, Rhonda, Caulfield, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her father preceded her in death.

Mr. Meeks passed away at 12:37 p.m., Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Care Manor Nursing and Rehab, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
He was born August 14, 1940, at Gamaliel, Arkansas, to Argol Meeks and Cuba Davidson Meeks. On April 9, 1966, he was married at Gamaliel, Arkansas, to June Helen Goodwin, who preceded him in death on April 24, 2004. Mr. Meeks was a veteran, having served with the United States Army. He worked as a carpenter and was a dairy farmer. He loved his family, church family and enjoyed traveling and visiting with whoever would listen. Mr. Meeks was a member of Gamaliel Church of Christ for seventy-seven years.
He is survived by four children, Tommy Meeks, II and wife, Tiffany, Strafford, Missouri, Sherri Turner and husband, Mark, Greenbrier, Arkansas, Robert Meeks and wife, Karen, Caulfield, Missouri and Matt Meeks and wife, Christy, West Plains, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Argie Heinrich, Mountain Home, Arkansas; and a special friend, Velma Strong.
His parents, wife, and one brother, Harold Meeks, preceded him in death.

She is survived by one son, Donald Ray O’Conner; three grandchildren, Don Curtis O’Conner, Anna Louise Powell and husband, Shawn and Stephanie Groover; and three great-grandchildren, Tiffany Powell, Wyatt Powell and Robert Mitchell.

She was born November 15, 1958, at Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Robert Allen Snyder and Vivian Lamont Stout Snyder. On September 2, 1977, she was married at Willow Springs, Missouri, to Floyd Henson. Diane earned a diploma in Early Childhood Development from Missouri State University and was a manager at West Plains Head Start. Mrs. Henson was a Christian.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Henson, of the family home; three children, Jeannie Crownover and husband, James, West Plains, Missouri, Ricky Allen Henson and wife, Tessa, Alton, Missouri, and Christopher Henson and wife, Becca, St. Charles, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Gavin, Sophia, Drew, Christina, Alyssa, Kendra Jo, Jaycelyn, Maveric, Caden, Tate and Luca; and one brother, Robert Snyder, Jr., Manford, Oklahoma.
Her parents and one sister, Lamona Robin Snyder, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Wilson passed away at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2018 at her home.
She was born October 5, 1920, at Pottersville, Missouri, to Zenephan Hickman “Hick” Callahan and Bertha Elvada Fox Callahan. On September 21, 1938, she was married at Crider, Missouri, to Lloyd T. Wilson, who preceded her in death on March 23, 1968. Mrs. Wilson had worked at Sharp’s Café and was a volunteer at the West Plains Senior Center. She loved to garden and raise flowers. Family was very important to Lorene; she was proud to help raise her daughter Patsy’s children. She made sure when someone knocked on her door that they had a meal. Mrs. Wilson was a Christian and had attended Church of Christ.
She is survived by six children, Betty Perkins and husband, Donnie, Koshkonong, Missouri, Sue Hicks, West Plains, Tom Wilson and wife, Connie, Springfield, Missouri, Judy Palmer, Marshfield, Missouri, Laverne Wilson, West Plains and Larry “PeeWee” Wilson, West Plains; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; fifty great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lewis L. Callahan and wife, Sharon, West Plains and Mickey Callahan and wife, Lois, Crider, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, three infant children, two daughters, Jane Robinson and Patsy Ann May, one son, Terry Lynn Wilson, one son-in-law, Johnny Ray Hicks, one great-grandson, Jonathan Busby, three brothers, Luranza, John Henry and Thomas Callahan, and two sisters, Sarah May and Darlene Callahan, preceded her in death.

Eugene Richard Bumpus, 86, Pomona, Missouri, passed away at 5:10 a.m., Sunday, July 29, 2018 at his home.
He was born January 24, 1932, at Phoenix, Arizona, to Albert Clarence Bumpus and Auderine Susan May Comer Bumpus. Mr. Bumpus was a veteran, having served with the United States Army National Guard.
He is survived by six children, Lisa Meridieth and husband, Billy, State of Missouri, Vicki Farnsworth, State of Oklahoma, Bret Bumpus, State of Arizona, Frank Bumpus, and wife, Mirtha, State of California, Michael Bumpus and wife, Monica, State of North Dakota and Tomi Navarro, State of Arizona; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild and one on the way.

Mrs. Callahan died 4:30 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2018 at NHC HealthCare. She was born February 9, 1935 at Koshkonong, Missouri to Alonzo Judd and Ruby Morgan Judd. On January 10,1953, she was married at Salem, Arkansas to Ermal Abbott Callahan who preceded her in death on August 2, 2004. Mrs. Callahan loved to attend garage sales and go to thrift stores. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by two children, Verna Williams and husband, Jim and Don Callahan; three grandchildren, Alonzo Williams and wife, Melanie, Charlotte VanEman and husband, Rob and Esta Shelton and husband, Roger; four great grandchildren, Lee VanEman, Dylan Shelton, Alexus Shelton and Wyatt Shelton; one great-great-granddaughter, Emery Shelton; one sister, Mayloa Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Raymond George Lindeman, 92, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Lindeman passed away at 9:09 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2018 at West Vue Nursing Center.
He was born July 8, 1926, at West Plains, Missouri, to George Casper Lindeman and Mathilda “Tillie” Ann Mueller Lindeman. He graduated from West Plains High School in 1945; his father accepted his diploma on his behalf as Raymond was already proudly serving his country with the United States Army. When WWII ended, he was stationed in the Philippines. Raymond besides being a veteran was a patriot and he instilled in his children how the right to vote was so important and to cast their ballot at every opportunity. He stated after that “your vote counts just as much as the richest person in this country.” His work included the International Shoe Company, a driver for Foremost Dairy, Cloud Oak Flooring and fuel delivery for Ozarko Oil; he also worked as a checkout clerk at the Cash Saver market until he was eighty-three. Mr. Lindeman was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. On October 4, 1947, he was married to Evelyn Youngblood and to this union two children were born, Larry and Donna. Mr. Lindeman was also married to Helen Mallory who preceded him in death. He enjoyed family gatherings, bowling, fishing (even though he wasn’t very good at it) and his favorite card game was pitch; he also enjoyed playing skipbo with his friend, Rose.
He is survived by two children, Larry Lindeman and Donna Cooper and husband, Hal, all of West Plains; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Norma Lou Martin and husband, Al, Plano, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, wife, three brothers, Paul, Lawrence and Kenneth Lindeman and one sister, Laverna North, preceded him in death.

She was born December 4, 1939, at Chicago, Illinois, to Kenneth Casper Faust and Marion Rosenquist Faust. On June 2, 1956, she was married at Wilmington, Illinois, to Herbert “Pedro” Palmer. Mrs. Palmer was an exceptional homemaker and mother; she enjoyed quilting, loved farming, taking care of others and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Palmer was a member of Shilo Baptist Church, Rover, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Herbert “Pedro” Palmer; six children, Fred Palmer and wife, Suzanne, Herb Palmer, Danny Palmer and wife, Lisa, Jessie Palmer and wife, Bobbi, all of Rover, Missouri, Anthony “Tige” Palmer and wife, Melissa and Loretta Palmer and fiancée Patric Roberts, all of West Plains; twenty grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Kenneth, Nicholas, Warren and Jim; seven sisters, Pat, Beth, Judy, Lynne, Bunny, Ellen and Linda; one sister-in-law, Nellie Whirrell; and several nieces and nephews.

On March 9, 1953, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Mahlon Little. Mrs. Little had worked as Assistant Collector and Secretary to John Kirk, Howell County Collector for a number of years. She enjoyed collecting various items, going to yard sales and loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Little was of the Lutheran faith.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Mahlon Little, of the family home; two children, Christy Lou Penninger and husband, Bob, Springfield, Missouri and Mahlon Little, II and wife, Jane Ellen, Ruston, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Montana Paige Little and James Connor Little; one brother, Eddie Ray Myers and wife, Linda, Fresno, California; one sister, Betty Johnson and husband, Carl Oscar, Branson, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bethel died 7:37 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at his home in West Plains. He was born December 22, 1936 at Bristow, Oklahoma to Arley Bethel and Maggie Little Bethel. On February 9, 1957, Mr. Bethel was married at Mountain Grove, Missouri to Fern Whitbey. He was a former businessman and before his retirement, he had managed the Richards Brothers Dry Goods and Sporting Goods for twenty-seven years. Mr. Bethel served his community for many years having been a member of the West Plains Downtown Association, West Plains Chamber of Commerce and the Industrial Development Corporation. He was an avid stamp collector, enjoyed doing yard work and loved his children and grandchildren. Mr. Bethel was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Plains.
He is survived by his wife, Fern Bethel, of the family home; two sons, Greg Bethel, wife, Tonya, Koshkonong, Missouri and Gary Bethel, wife, Tammie, Wentzville, Missouri; three grandchildren, Valla Bethel, Jason Bethel and Chelsea Bethel; one great-grandchild, Daygan; his sisters-in-law, Wanda Bethel, Estia Arnold and Mae Craig, husband, Bill; and several nieces and nephews.

She was born March 16, 1937, at Kansas City, Kansas, to Michael Bryan and Evelyn Pinnick Bryan. On June 2, 1957, she was married at Milan, Missouri, to Leroy Erzinger. Mrs. Erzinger was a teacher and earned her college degrees from Southwest Baptist College in 1957 and Grand Canyon Baptist College in 1959. She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed life and spending time with her children. Mrs. Erzinger was a Christian.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Erzinger; two children, Alan Erzinger and Linda Erzinger and husband, James May; one grandson, Jarred Erzinger; six brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Laura Peterman and husband, Joe, Jeanne Erzinger, Paul Erzinger and wife, Opal, Julia Hopkins and husband, Royce, George Erzinger and wife, Linda and John Erzinger and wife, Beverly; and many nieces and nephews.

Wanda, or “Bonnie” to most of her family, was born February 24, 1930 to Coy and Ethel Lane, the 4th of their eight children. On August 31, 1950, she married Douglas Sasseen in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
She is survived by four children: Bobby (Myra) Sasseen of Caulfield, Missouri, Trish (Bill) Talley of Bakersfield, Missouri, Beth (Gary) Pickle of Gamaliel, Arkansas, and Susan Sasseen of Gamaliel. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren: Shyla Simpson, Kashia Zumwalt, Chad Talley, Brooke Osterkamp, Alex Talley, Phillip Pickle, Geoffrey Pickle, Saige Webster, and Delaney Smith, 14 great-grandchildren, her sister June Scott and husband, David Crawford, her brother-in-law, Bob Talburt, and a very special niece and nephew, Michelle and Roger Talburt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, four sisters, and several very special in-laws.

Mr. Sams passed away Wednesday morning, July 11, 2018 at his home.
He was born January 17, 1956, at West Plains, Missouri, to Thomas Charles “Tom” Sams and Docie Gunter Sams. On April 25, 1975, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Sherri Armstrong. Mr. Sams had worked at Pruett Home Improvement. He could build anything that he wanted and enjoyed motorcycle riding. Mr. Sams always put his family and friends first and loved playing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri Sams; two children, Shawna Hammon and husband, Richie and Ashley Heston and husband, Chad; five grandchildren, Mariana, Nevaeh, Brayton, Peyton and Libby; one sister, Wonda Marcum and husband, John; mother-in-law, Delores Armstrong; four sisters-in-law, Penny Armstrong, Denise Hunter, Sheila Chinn and Kathy Fischer; one brother-in-law, Keith Armstrong; a friend who was like a brother to him, Rex Knapp and wife, Debbie; special friend, Robert Ford and wife, Judy; lots of nieces and nephews, including a niece who was like a daughter, Michele Kight and husband, Clifford, II.

Byron Rubert Lewis passed away peacefully in West Plains, Missouri on June 26, 2018 at the age of 103. He was born to Edward Eugene Lewis and Audra Pearl Luna Lewis on June 13, 1915, the oldest and last surviving of five brothers; Walton, Donald, Doyle and Ewell.
He was married on January 25, 1936 to Edna Cecile Adams who preceded him in death on January 31, 2005. They were married 69 years and had three children; Leila Marie, Robert Eugene and Jerry Lee. Robert passed away as an infant and Jerry passed in 2009. Byron had four grandsons, three granddaughters, great-grand-children and other relatives and dear friends. Byron and Edna were devoted Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Byron had many occupations but worked as a mechanic in the trucking industry most of his life and retired in 1977 to Dora, Missouri. He enjoyed watching Cardinals baseball and being outdoors fishing, hunting and gardening.
Byron’s wishes were to be cremated and interred next to his wife, Edna at Sweeton Pond Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, in West Plains, Missouri at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home with visitation for family and friends starting at 1:00 pm, services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Please come share stories in celebration of Byron’s life.

Mr. Eagleman passed away at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018 at West Vue Nursing Center.
He was born January 31, 1943, at Leota, Missouri, to Roy Thomas Eagleman and Sylvia Belle Burden Eagleman. Donald graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1960 and then furthered his education at Missouri School of Mines, Rolla, Missouri, obtaining a bachelor’s degree with the Class of 1964. He immediately went to work as a computer programmer at Boeing in Leavenworth, Kansas; and later was a systems analyst at NCR in Wichita, Kansas. On September 19, 1970, he was married to Patricia Joan Bass at the Cleveland Avenue Church of Christ, Wichita, Kansas. After his retirement, Mr. Eagleman moved to West Plains where he was a member of the West Plains City Charter Commission. He enjoyed reading, studying theology and leading bible study groups at Pleasant Valley Manor. Mr. Eagleman was a member of West 160 Church of Christ and had been a member in the Church of Christ for more than 30 years in Wichita prior to moving to West Plains.
He is survived by one son, Patrick Eagleman, Mudelein, Illinois; his former wife, Patricia J. Eagleman, Wichita, Kansas; two brothers, Arthur Eagleman, Tomball, Texas and David Eagleman and wife, Sharon, Garber, Oklahoma; two sisters, Ida Mae Cawvey and husband, Leon, Moody, Missouri and Rebecca Beasley, West Plains, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
His parents and one sister, Vivian Busenbarrick, preceded him in death.

Mrs. Huddleston passed away at 3:50 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018 at West Vue Nursing Center.
She was born May 15, 1926, at Rover, Missouri, to William Franklin Redburn and Mary Sylvania Childers Redburn. On September 24, 1945, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Carl Mitchell Huddleston, who preceded her in death on June 18, 2003. She loved cooking for her family and helping at Bible school and singings. Mrs. Huddleston was a member of Shilo Baptist Church, Rover, Missouri.
She is survived by seven children, Roy Huddleston, Rover, Missouri, Audena Granger-Staley, Rover, Missouri, Donald Huddleston and wife, Carla, West Plains, Ronald Huddleston and wife Patricia, Pamela Hollis and husband, Mike, Tim Huddleston and Mary Anna Russell and husband, Robert, all of Rover, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Kay Huddleston, West Plains, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one son, J. C. Huddleston, two sons-in-law, Coy Granger and Gerald Staley, one grandson, Michael Crawford, one great-grandson, Rayden Brucker, one great-great-grandson, Miles Dotson, two brothers, Lee and Austin and two sisters, Goldie and Mable, preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Cleda Mae Hansen, 91, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Endurance Church (formerly Faith Assembly Church), under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hansen passed away at 11:18 p.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at her home.
She was born September 28, 1926, at Pleasant Mound, Illinois, to Aaron Strohkirch and Irene Estelle Fenton Strohkirch. She was married April 29, 1944, to Lester J. Royer and to this union two children were born. On March 8, 1975, she was married at Montgomery, Illinois, to Vernon Brandt Hansen, who preceded her in death on September 3, 2016. Mrs. Hansen was a supervisor of social services for the State of Illinois and had operated a grocery store and restaurant. She was a fine example of being a woman of God. Mrs. Hansen enjoyed her yard, raising flowers and a garden. She loved to travel with her sisters and friends and enjoyed collecting bells from all over the country. Mrs. Hansen lived her life serving the Lord and was a member of Faith Assembly Church of God for thirty-five years.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Ansel and husband, Raymond; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; and many close friends, nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one son, Skip Royer, one great-grandchild, Levi, one brother and two sisters, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Willard passed away at 5:27 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2018 at NHC Healthcare.
She was born November 4, 1929, at Osage City, Kansas, to Charles Voorhis and Pearl Stadter Voorhis. Dorothy graduated from West Plains High School in 1946. From there she traveled to Springfield to further her education at Southwest Missouri State College. She returned to the West Plains area where she taught for two years at Hopewell School. Dorothy met George Willard after he returned from WWII; they married June 11, 1949 and to this union three children were born, Steven James, Patricia Elaine and Sherry Lee. Dorothy loved her family with all she had, always placing their needs before hers. After retirement, she enjoyed camping at bluegrass festivals with her husband and her many, many friends. Dorothy also enjoyed hand piecing quilts and could make the best hot rolls around. Mrs. Willard was a member of Providence Baptist Church, Liberty, Missouri, for forty-one years before moving back to West Plains in 1993.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-nine years, George Willard; two daughters, Patricia Elaine Willard and Sherry Lee (Willard) McBride and husband, Rick; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Willard; eight grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Her parents, one son, Steven James Willard and one sister, Ethel Willard, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of choice and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
