My sincere condolences to all of Dean’s family. He was a great guy and a great fiddle player! Don and I went to hear him many times. He will certainly be missed!

I greatly admired Dean for multiple reasons: his genuine friendliness, his work ethic and perseverance, his civic-mindedness and community leadership, and, of course, his musicianship. It was an honor and a pleasure to know him. Peace and blessings to his family and everyone mourning his passing.

Prayers and thoughts go out to the Von Allmen family. I became acquainted with Dean when I worked for Dennis in the County Clerk’s office. Dean was always such a soft spoken man with a big heart. Always a smile on his face. Always enjoyed his visits to the office. R.I.P. Dean. You will be truly missed.

My condolences to Dean Von Allmen’s family. I pray the Lord gives you great comfort and peace in this time of loss. I’m thankful for the stories Dean shared with me about my family of many years ago at Rover that I never met.

I am so very saddened at the loss of this special man. I sincerely apologize that I just found out yesterday, and also about Carma. Heartbreaking news.

Dean was always a joy to be with and speak to. I can hear his voice and see that wonderful smile that was ALWAYS on his kind face.

Much love and prayers to this entire family.

I played guitar for Dean in various places. I never met anyone who ever said a bad word about him. I will truly miss him as a special friend and a fellow musician.
