Graveside services for Judith Anne Shanks, 69, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 28, 2013, at Patrick Cemetery, Gainesville, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shanks died at 10:07 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born March 9, 1943, at East St. Louis, Illinois, to Orville and Viola Rose Griffith Spangenberg.  On May 1, 1974, she was married at Washington, Pennsylvania, to Vincent Shanks.  Mrs. Shanks worked in the deli at Price Chopper/Country Mart.  She loved her family and grandchildren.  She was a member of Victory Chapel, Peace Valley, Missouri.

She is survived by her husband, Vince Shanks, of the family home; five children, Charles Howerton, wife, Maria, Coleman, Alabama, Marshall Shanks, Centralia, Illinois, Shella Shanks, Centralia, Illinois, Daniel Shanks, wife, Stacey, Pleasant City, Ohio and Christy Reid, husband, Kim, Peace Valley, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, Tony, Brian, Charlie, Marshall, Renee, Vincent, Beau, Adrian, Jesalyn, Mariah, Zach, Aaliyah and Olivia; eight great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Ova Conrad, husband, Bill; five sisters, Nancy Cox, husband, Ralph, Donna Dudley, husband, Bob, Jan Wilson, husband, Roger, Connie Miller, husband, Mark and Denise Kilhafner; and special friend and sister-in-law, Lorene Anderson.

Her parents, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter and one sister-in-law, Pauline, precede her in death.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
