I enjoyed Karen’s good humor and infectious smile. I worked with her when I was a sassy teenager but she always was kind to me. I treasure the many memories of her.

Our heart felt condolences to your family at this time of loss. Karen was always so special in my life and meant everything to me. She was like a big sister to me, was a mentor, and mostly a friend for over 20 yrs. She always strived to serve her family, God and community, and she was blessed in all those ways. She was a wonderful person and I will never forget how she has impacted my life. Sincerely, Liz keller

I knew Karen early in my life as ‘Heather’s Mom’ and then a part-time chauffeur after basketball practice. I got to know Karen more as a co-worker at Lakeway, where I really got to see how she inner acted with the whole Caulfield/Bakersfield community. She knew everyone and always greeted you with a smile and a ‘how are you doing and what have you been up to?’. For many, she was one person that was easy to talk to and would give advice and showed genuine concerned for others. My heart goes out to her family as her presence will be truely missed by all.

Just wanted you all to know how much my heart hurts at the loss of Karen. I hurt for y’all and I hurt for all of us who were lucky enough to have known her all our lives. I’m a little envious that Karen’s getting to see everyone that I love and miss! I know she saw Jesus first, then I’m sure her next stop was Bro & Sis Hill (her precious parents)… I’m also sure among all our loved ones she’s saw my dad as well. We’ll see Karen and the rest of them some day and I’m thinking it’s not that far away!

We are so sorry for your loss. We hate that Karen was taken way too early in her life. Our heartfelt condolenses go out to Steve and his family. If you need anything, we’re just a phone call away.
