I remember Mr. Courtney from when I was a kid running around with Tammy. He was a great guy. My thoughts are with the family at this very difficult time.

Tammy, I am so sorry to hear you Daddy has passed too. I remember he and your momma, Hester so well. I worked with her later at West Vue. But as kids we’d go to Holland s market and carry those heavy glass gallon jars of Proffitt’s milk home , one in each hand. I think your poor Daddy was afraid we would drop them every time. As we were headed to the store more than once, he gave us an ice-cream. Fudge bar, popcicle or the such. He was a fantastic gentleman. I loved to hear him laugh. You were a sweetheart always too. I love you and am praying for you all in this time of sorrow.

Always enjoyed visiting with your dad at the mailboxes at the end of the county road. Hugs and prayers.
