Funeral services for Rebecca Laverne Beasley, 73, Apopka, Florida, and formerly of West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2024, in the Rose Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  

Ms. Beasley passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at her home.  

She was born May 7, 1950, at Howell County, Missouri, to Roy Thomas and Sylvia Belle Burden Eagleman.  Ms. Beasley was a certified silversmith, specializing in turquoise and silver.  She also had an interest in the coin business and was part owner of multiple coin businesses throughout the years.  She was an officer in the Wichita Falls Coin Club and the Clovis, New Mexico, Coin Club.  Ms. Beasley was of the Baptist faith and was very active in her church.  She enjoyed traveling, and she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one son, Jack Pemberton and wife, Ally, Columbia, Missouri; one brother, David Eagleman and wife, Sharon, Garber, Oklahoma; one sister, Ida Mae Cawvey and husband, Leon, Moody, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, two brothers, Donald Eagleman and Arthur Eagleman, and one sister, Vivian Busenbarrick, preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Craig Alan (Keebler) Bentzel, 75, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 15, 2024, at His Place House of Worship, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  

Mr. Bentzel passed away at 12:26 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2024, at his home.  

He was born August 9, 1948, at York, Pennsylvania, to Fred Dill and Olive Rebecca Girdley Bentzel.  Mr. Bentzel was a veteran, having served with the United States Navy.  During the Vietnam War, he proudly served with the Seabees.  Mr. Bentzel was a member of the Combat Vets and lifetime member of B.A.C.A.  He was the owner of Dixie Cream Donuts, and he was the manager of Frederick’s Pizza.  He was also the Chico Man (floor inspector) at Marathon Electric. Affectionately known as Keebler, Mr. Bentzel was a selfless man and was always willing to help others.  He enjoyed playing Santa for children, especially children with special needs.  He loved riding his bike with his buddies.  Mr. Bentzel was a member of His Place House of Worship where he served on the security team and as an usher.  He loved his friends and family, especially his grandchildren, and he was a papa to many.

He is survived by four children, Brandi Alterman and husband, Kelly, West Plains, Missouri, Candi Ford and husband, Rodney, West Plains, Missouri, Steven Harlan and wife, Jill, Jackson, Missouri, and Stacey Harlan, Pomona, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Presley Alterman, Jon Alterman, Kelly Alterman, Rebecca McKemie and husband, Brent, Abigail Ford and fiancé, Ryan, Laikin Harlan, Dawson Harlan, Takoda Harlan, Tinsley Harlan, Bailey Harlan, and Breanna Harlan; two great-grandchildren, Ansleigh and Owen; one brother, Marvin Massey; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends, including special friend, Susan Cockrum.

His parents, stepfather, Gerald Massey, sister, Carrol Spears, brother-in-law, Rodney Spears, and many close friends preceded him in death.

William Darrell Newberry of Moody, Missouri, died in his home on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the age of 70 years and eighteen days. He was born on February 16, 1954, in Denver, Colorado, to Sherman and Lillian Rice Newberry. He was a 1972 graduate of West Plains High School and worked on oil rigs and off-shore drilling rigs and as a truck driver for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by a brother, Alfred (Diana) Newberry of Harrison, Arkansas, a sister, Kathleen (Larry) Stephens of Strafford, Missouri, four nieces, Dr. Elizabeth Stephens of Los Altos, California, Rachel (Taylor) Smith of Joplin, Missouri, Dr. Hannah Newberry of Bentonville, Arkansas and Mary Newberry of Bentonville, Arkansas, and one nephew, Tim (Strausie) Stephens of Springfield, Missouri, five great nieces, Tara Pande of Berkeley, California, Kira Pande of Los Altos, California, Rosie and Ruby Smith of Joplin, Missouri and Ila Rose Stephens of Springfield, Missouri, two aunts, Wilma Newberry Wolverton of Grain Valley, Missouri and Lenora Rice Campbell of Mountain Home, Arkansas and many cousins.

A celebration of life service for Monica Orchard, 70, Caulfield, Missouri, will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Orchard passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at her home.

She was born August 4, 1953, to Edgar Marsh and Dorothy Marsh. On December 31, 1996, she married the love of her life, Dean Orchard, who preceded her in death on March 16, 2013. Mrs. Orchard was a dietary aid at Cedar Hurst and was an honorary chef. She was a passionate cook, was an avid gardener, and loved spending time with her family. Monica was fun, bubbly, energetic, and was loved by all. She was also a very strong and independent woman. Monica truly loved her family, friends, and her pets.

She is survived by one daughter, Yvonne Reyes, Waukesha, Wisconsin; one step-daughter, Deanna Partoll; one brother, Ronald Marsh and wife, Doris, Palmyra, Wisconsin; her lifelong friend, Karen Patrick, Dousman, Wisconsin; and her nieces and nephews, Karen Pope and husband, Mike; Laura Franke and husband, Scott; and her great-niece, Emily Vander Grinten and husband, Ryan.

Her parents, husband, and one step-son, Joel Orchard, preceded her in death.

Kevin Lee Cherry, 55, West Plains, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, at his home. 

He was born March 18, 1968, at West Plains, Missouri, to Donald Henry Cherry and Anna Lee Wallace Cherry.  On June 16, 2001, he was married at West Plains, to Karie Hilburn.  Kevin was proud to be known as the pizza man; he was the owner and operator of Simple Simon’s Pizza for many years.  He also farmed alongside his family.  Kevin enjoyed singing and playing guitar.  He was a member of The Ninth Hour Quartet and had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at a Kansas City Royals baseball game.  He was always kind, never complained or lost his temper; Kevin never met a stranger and truly loved helping people.  He loved his family, friends and his bulldogs.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Karie Cherry, West Plains; his mother, Anna Lee Cherry, West Plains; special bulldog, June; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mike and Kathy Hilburn; brother-in-law, Matt Hilburn; sister-in-law, Beth Hunt and husband, Jason; his nephew, Weston; his niece, Rylee; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and bonus nieces and nephew, Martin, Liliana and Emilia. 

His father, grandparents and special bulldog, Willie, preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Betty Jane Russell, 93, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2024, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.    

Mrs. Russell passed away at 6:38 p.m., Sunday, March 3, 2024, at her home. 

She was born January 18, 1931, at West Plains, Missouri, to John W. Barr and Temple Marie Barrett Barr.  On February 17, 1951, she was married at West Plains, to Donald (Rusty) Russell, who preceded her in death on December 26, 1997.  Mrs. Russell was a kindergarten teacher at St. Vincent Episcopal School for fifteen years.  She loved reading, traveling, sewing and crossword puzzles; she loved her coffee.  She also loved her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Betty enjoyed the holidays, especially Christmas.  She was a member of the PEO sisterhood, the Francis West Guild and the First Christian Church.

She is survived by two children, Linda Ann Johnson and David Lee Russell and wife, Janet, all of West Plains; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Callahan, West Plains, Bailey Russell, West Plains, Eli Russell, West Plains, Autumn Davis, West Plains, Derrick  Hayes, Mountain Grove, Missouri, Vanessa Williams and husband, Thomas, West Plains and Zach Hayes, West Plains; and seven great-grandchildren, Quinsey Doolittle, Promise Russell, Lylian Williams, Pyper Williams, Liam Hayes, Prestyn Hayes and Allie Callahan.. 

Her parents, husband, one daughter, Donna Beth and her best friends, Marimartha Ritter, Pat Osborne, Charlene Buck and Cynthia Dunlap, preceded her in death.  

The family would like to thank Hospice Compassus for the excellent care that was shown to Betty.

Funeral services for Todd Allen Menz, 58, Pottersville, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Todd Allen Menz was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was born on May 18, 1965 and met his Lord and Savior on March 2, 2024.

He grew up in Delta, Missouri and moved to Howell County in 1990 to pursue a life he loved in the cattle industry. Owning livestock auctions through the years and building relationships across the Midwest, Todd became a staple in the cattle community. During his decades long career he was a stranger to none and a friend to all. While he left us far too soon, the impact Todd had on those who knew him will be felt for years to come. Todd embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity.  Todd’s love was tough, but it ran deep. He was loyal, unbelievably hard working, and lived at top speed to selflessly provide. The passion he poured into his family, his friendships, his businesses and his relationship with his Creator never wavered.  Todd was so proud of the farm and the business he built with his son, Chad. His greatest joys included spending time on the lake, enjoying his mornings with Adonia studying God’s word over a cup of coffee, loving his adult kids and spoiling his grandchildren.

Todd is survived by his wife of nine years Adonia; his children, Chad Menz and wife, Amelia of Pottersville, Haley Menz of Nashville, Morgan Cook and husband, Dillynn of Rolla, and Sidney Burgess of Joplin.  He was the proud Gramps of Bode and Katherine. Todd leaves behind two siblings, Kelley Phillips and husband, Merle of Pottersville, and Brian Menz and wife, Shelley of West Plains, and countless other loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jerry Menz and Sharon Coats.

Todd, we’ll always be looking for your truck coming up the lane with every sunset.

Dick M. Deupree, 98, Dora, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, at his home. 

He was born December 16, 1925, at West Plains, Missouri, to William R. Deupree and Alta Deupree.  On November 4, 1964, he was married to Lorena Mae Deupree, who preceded him in death.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.  Dick worked at Woodworth and Cochran Motors in West Plains from 1943 to 1964.  He then went to work at Bill Greer Ford in Sedalia, Missouri from 1964 to 1976.  He then started his own trucking business in Sedalia, D & B Trucking and operated it from 1976 until 1991, when he retired to his farm in Dora, due to his wife Lorena’s illness.  Dick’s enjoyed his quarter horses.  In 1973 he placed the 4^th fastest time in the All American Futurity.  Dick was a quarter horse breeder and in the 1950’s and 1960’s he bred and raised brangus cattle.

He is survived by his daughter, Joella Robinson and husband, Bob; ten grandchildren, Sherri Parrett, Tonya Thomas Summers and husband, Matthew, Angi Littlejohn, Christy Mainprize, Jessica Fox and husband, Scott, Amanda DiGiovanna and husband, Steven, Jeff Nickles, Melissa Nickles, Doug Richardson and wife, Debbie and Keith Richardson and wife, Amy; eight great-grandchildren, Jake Thomas, Caleb Littlejohn, Aiden, Ainsley and Avery Fox, Riley and Audrey DiGiovanna and Delaney Richardson; and nieces and nephews, Robert Butts and wife, MI, Buddy Butts and wife, Dawn, Lori Prater and husband, HB, Keith Butts and wife, Amanda, Carl Butts and wife, Kila, Josh Butts and wife, Corrissa and Jeremy Butts.

Mr. Roberts passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at his home. 

He was born May 17, 1954, to Dale Preston Roberts and Lola Belle Robinson Roberts.  Mike enjoyed playing golf.  He was a master carpenter and was a simple man that loved spending time with his friends, family and his dog, Goober.  Mr. Roberts was a long time member of the Elks Lodge.

He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Smith and husband, John, West Plains; two step-daughters, Jeanie Smith and husband, Randy and Vanessa Becker and husband, Brett, all of West Plains; fourteen grandchildren, Chris, Mike, Courtney, Mackenzie, Arionna, Angel, Justin, Chelsea, Dakota, Dillon, Tanner, Brett, Brendan and Brady; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Mark Roberts and wife, Sheryl, West Plains; and several nieces and nephews. 

His parents, grandparents and one brother, Charlie Roberts, preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Nelta Faye (Miller) Johnston, 92, West Plains, Missouri, formerly of Tremont, Illinois, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 9, 2024, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.    

Mrs. Johnston passed away at 7:03 a.m., Thursday, February 29, 2024, at her home. 

She was born October 22, 1931, in Oregon County, Missouri, to Hobert W. Miller and Gertrude B. Judd Miller.  On December 24, 1952, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Johnie Johnston, who preceded her in death on March 25, 2016.  Mrs. Johnston spent her days being a wife, mother and homemaker in Tremont, Illinois.  She enjoyed her houseplants along with her flower garden.  She was a member of the Tazewell County Home Extension and enjoyed helping at the County fairs.  She also volunteered at the Allentown Hall Saturday Breakfasts, which she would often make her sausage gravy; she also enjoyed the lunch outings with the Allentown Birthday Club.  Mrs. Johnston was a member of the Morton Church of Christ.

She is survived by six children, Jo A. Johnston, West Plains, Ray (Jan) Johnston, Fort Smith, Arkansas, Rick (Marilyn ) Johnston, Greenwood, Indiana, Alan (Tina) Johnston, Tremont, Illinois, John S. Johnston, Tremont, Illinois and Roxanna Abernathy, West Plains; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Cora Winfrey, Marshall, Missouri, Peggy Huddleston, West Plains and Fern Harris, West Plains; and many nieces and nephews. 

Her parents, husband, one son, Gary Allen, two brothers, Joe and Cecil Miller, three infant brothers, Carl H., Ray D. and Harold J. and three sisters, Emma Roark, Margaret Carter and Minerva McKenzie preceded her in death.

A celebration of life service for Trevin Christopher Dicks, 21, Springfield, Missouri, will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 3, 2024, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.    

Trevin passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri. 

He was born June 6, 2002, at West Plains, Missouri, to Kammy Dicks and R. Christopher Wilson.  Trevin had a smile that could light off the darkest of rooms. Always making you laugh. He loved to drive fast. He was a natural leader with a huge heart. He lived for his family and friends.

Trevin is survived by both parents; two children, Nyeleigh Wilson and Taysom Christopher Wilson; and three siblings, Tarrin Dicks, Trentin Dicks and Trinity Howerton; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is proceeded in death by his grandmother, Donna Dicks Owens and his aunt, Rachel Wilson.

Graveside services for Everett Morris Brewer, 78, Nixa, Missouri, formerly of West Plains, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.    

Mr. Brewer passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Seymour, Missouri. 

He was born April 14, 1945, at Gainesville, Missouri to Mildred and Henry Brewer; he was the youngest son of eight children.  Everett graduated from West Plains High School in 1963.  He was in the Missouri National Guard, ranked sharp shooter as Military Police in the 1960’s.  On September 2, 1966, he was married at West Plains, to Linda Lee Ford.  Everett was a store manager in the Wal-Mart company since 1977, Houston, Missouri.  Everett was proud to say he worked his way up in the company from stock boy in 1969.  He managed the West Plains location from 1980 – 1993 upon his retirement.  He was active in local civic clubs including United Way, Lion’s Club, West Plains R-7 School Board Member and Chamber of Commerce (President 1984).  Everett and Linda raised three successful children, Michelle, Jason and Nathan.  Everett had a passion for hot rods that was cultivated by his older brothers.  He started Corvettes Unlimited as a hobby in 1988.  He and Linda enjoyed building and designing houses throughout their 57 year marriage.  Everett transitioned into retirement combining his success in business with his passion for classic cars.  In 1993 he moved his family to the Springfield area and launched his full time dealership with his wife and sons.  Everett had two grandchildren, Logan and Megan.  He enjoyed sharing his love of cars with them both.

He is survived by his three children, Michelle Titus and husband, Jay, Springfield, Missouri, Jason Brewer and wife, Diana, Ozark, Missouri and Nathan Brewer, Nixa, Missouri; two grandchildren, Logan and Megan; and his siblings, David Brewer, Don Brewer, Edith Little and Elsie Morgan. 

His parents, wife (just two months ago), two brothers, Ed and Earl Brewer and one sister, Evelyn Correll, preceded him in death.

Mrs. Wrinkles passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Brooke Haven Healthcare. 

She was born May 9, 1936, to Harold E. Strong and Faye Hicks Strong.  On November 15, 1960, she was married at West Plains, to Edward Lee (Tom) Wrinkles, who preceded her in death on February 1, 2019.  Joyce was a homemaker and was very loving and kind.  She had a love for her family that was outstanding and always looked for opportunities to help others.  She was a strong woman that worked hard for her family and would do anything she could for her family and friends.  Joyce was a Christian all of her life. 

She is survived by three children, Brenda Wrinkles, Jeff Wrinkles and Rhonda Howell, all of West Plains; seven grandchildren, Brian, Paul, Carrie, Matthew, Isabell, Stephanie and Margaret; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Her parents, husband and one daughter-in-law, Kristine Wrinkles, preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Robert (Bob) Crites, 79, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Gospel Hill Church of Christ, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.    

Mr. Crites passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024.

He was born December 1, 1944 at his grandmother’s house near Blair Bridge on the North Fork River in Ozark County, Missouri, to the late Jack and Mildred Cobb Crites.  On May 23, 1965, he was married at Pomona, Missouri to Ruth Ellen Marcum who preceded him in death on June 2, 2014. In his younger days, Bob was a meat cutter at Garrett’s Store in West Plains then became the owner /operator of the Dog ‘N Suds Drive In and later the Dairy Princess Drive In where, with his wife Ruth, ran successful businesses for many years and was well respected for being an honest and hard worker.  He was also a farmer, raising beef cattle and Missouri Fox Trotter horses and served as President of Howell County Farm Bureau. He served as a Board Member of the Fairview School Board. He was a Christian and had served as a Bible class teacher, an Elder and a Deacon at the Gospel Hill Church of Christ where he had been a member for over 50 years. Bob enjoyed woodworking and fishing with his friends. Despite suffering a major stroke nearly 25 years ago, he thrived and adapted in most of his daily tasks and amazed friends and family with his ability to persevere and overcome. 

He is survived by two children, Rhonda Meyer, husband Marc, of Overland Park, Kansas, and Robbie Crites, wife Lynn, of the family home in West Plains, Missouri; five grandchildren, Lindsay Meyer, Jack Meyer, Bo Crites, Coy Crites and Mac Crites; two brothers, Jack Crites and wife, Janella, Dora, Missouri and Bill Crites and wife, Paula, Bakersfield, Missouri; one sister, Kathy Dillon and husband, Greg, Tecumseh, Missouri; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, along with special friends, Lanny and Dee Lewis. 

His parents, wife, and one brother, Don Crites, precede him in death.

A Celebration of Life Service for Jeanette Peterson, 75, Willow Springs, Missouri, will be held July 6, 2024, in Bolivar, Missouri for all family and friends that loved her. 

Mrs. Peterson passed away at 9:20 p.m., Monday, February 19, 2024, at her home after a long battle with lung cancer. 

She was born August 21, 1948, in California, to Kenneth Eugene and Alberta Elizabeth Cauldwell.  On November 19, 2019, she was married at Ava, Missouri, to Fred Peterson.  Jeanette loved animals and enjoyed her fur babies; she also enjoyed fishing.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Peterson; four children, Kenneth Cauldwell and fiance’ Dawn, Kana Aucick and husband, Earl, Teresa Climer and husband, David and Chris Cauldwell and wife, Mary; eleven grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. 

Her parents, two grandsons, Shane Michael McDonald and Drew Christopher Climber and one sister, Linda Behil, preceded her in death.  

The family would like to give a special t hank you to Chris and Mary for their care given during Jeanette’s cancer treatments.

Funeral services for Kathy Marie Kibodeaux, 54, Mountain View, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2024, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.    

Mrs. Kibodeaux passed away at 8:35 p.m., Sunday, February 18, 2024, at her parent’s home in Pomona, Missouri. 

She was born February 24, 1969, at Sulphur, Louisiana, to Billy Vincent and Billie Wofford Vincent.  On October 6, 1990, she was married to George Kibodeaux.  Kathy enjoyed reading, traveling and shopping.  She loved Elvis and all things Elvis.  Kathy loved her family, especially her grandchildren; anything they wanted to do, she’d do it.  She loved to joke and make people laugh.  Kathy never complained about anything; she was a joy to be around and was loved by all that knew her.  Mrs. Kibodeaux was a member of Thee Foundation Church, Camdenton, Missouri

She is survived by her husband, George Kibodeaux, Hackberry, Louisiana, three children, Amanda Savoie and husband, Derek, Mountain View, Missouri, Allen Kibodeaux and wife, Paige, Hackberry, Louisiana and Courtney Smith and husband, Tyler, Vinton, Louisiana, four grandchildren, Paisley, Bentley, Adree and Haiden; her parents, Billy and Billie Vincent, Pomona, Missouri; one sister, Vernice Deville and husband, Gus, DeQuincy, Louisiana; and several nieces, nephews and god children. 

Her grandson, Landon Ziegler, one brother, Steven Vincent, one great-nephew, Kyler Dydasco and her maternal and paternal grandparents, preceded her in death.

Jesse Edward Abbott, 77, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 3:57 a.m., Monday, February 19, 2024, at his home. 

He was born February 7, 1947, at Lawrenceburg, Indiana, to Edward Eugene Abbott and Georgia Powell Abbott.  Mr. Abbot was a veteran, having served with the United States Marines.  He was a good father and had a huge family that loved him.  Jesse loved his garden and mushroom hunting.  He was a Christian.

He is survived by his children, John Abbott and wife, Victoria, Robert Abbott and Anna Goedecker; his step-children, Holly Ligon, Amy Wilson, Tom Wilson and Samantha Hofelich; four brothers, Leslie, Tony, Tracey and David Abbott; and many nieces and nephews. 

His parents, his wife, Regina Abbott, one son, Jesse Edward Abbott, Jr., one brother, Jerry Abbott and one sister, Lisa Abbott Barrett, preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Amelia Joan (Amy) Luna, 67, Dora, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Ball Church of Christ, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.    

Mrs. Luna passed away at 3:10 a.m., Sunday, February 18, 2024, at her home.  

She was born December 5, 1956, at Gainesville, Missouri, to Bernie and Geneva  Watkins.  Amy graduated from Dora High School and was married to Terry Luna June 6, 1975.  Amy was a stay at home mom and worked many years on the farm right beside Terry. Cutting hay was her favorite chore to do. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She loved going to all of their many activities, ball games most importantly. She loved to sing, especially gospel and bluegrass music. She was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, nanny, and friend. 

Amy is survived by her husband, Terry of 48 years; their children, Willie Luna and wife, Crystal, Dora, Missouri, Christy Lowe and husband, Kurt, Willow Springs, Missouri, Dustin Luna and wife, Whitney, Eureka, Missouri and Ernie Fox and wife, Erin, of  West Plains, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Tyler Luna, Dora, Missouri, Seth Luna and significant other, Chloe, Dora, Missouri, Carson Lowe and wife, Zoe, Pomona, Missouri, Keena Lowe and significant other, Hurston, Willow Springs, Missouri, Addi Luna and significant other, Jacob, West Plains, Missouri, Layton Luna, Eureka, Missouri and Daxton Luna, Eureka, Missouri;  siblings, Ronnie Watkins and wife Wanda, Dora, Missouri, Connie Williams and husband, Jack, Caulfield, Missouri and Becky Smith and husband, Phillip, Dora, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Amy is preceded in death by her parents, Bernie and Geneva Watkins and her mother-in-law and father in law, Clifton and Flora Mae Luna.

A celebration of life service for Syndi Davis, 55, West Plains, Missouri, will be held from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the family residence, 5675 Private Road 9134, West Plains, Missouri. 

Mrs. Davis passed away at 2:04 p.m., Friday, February 9, 2024, at her home.  

She was born May 15, 1968, at Fullerton, California, to James Dean Blinsmon and Patricia Collier Blinsmon.  On May 16, 1992, she was married at Las Vegas, Nevada, to Paul Davis.  Syndi had a contagious love for music that she spread to friends and family all throughout her life.  She also loved to travel, whether it be for rock hunting, enjoying some of America’s greatest big and small cities, or just taking a weekend drive to a nearby destination.  Syndi was also known for loving to create from cooking to crafts, she was always excited to try new ideas and projects.

She is survived by her husband, Paul; three children, Amanda, Mike and Nena; three grandchildren, Austin, Avery and Malcolm; her mother, Patricia; two sisters, Denise and Dodi; many nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Lisa LaBriola. 

The family would like to give a special thanks to Mikayla Harris, Marvin Hatley and the West 160 Church of Christ for the love they have shown.

David Morris Cole, 77, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 10:15 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024, at his home.  

He was born April 22, 1946, in Genesee County, Michigan, to McKie Cole and Jessie Lee Spears.  On May 26, 1979, he was married at San Jose, California, to Margaret Ladd.  Mr. Cole was an entrepreneur and owned many businesses over his lifetime, such as Dave’s Handyman and Dave’s Steakhouse.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Cole; seven children, David Morris Cole III, Amy Pearl DeAngelis and husband, Kris, Jessie Lawrence, David Morris Cole, Jr., John Baker, Tammy Baker and Daryl Potter; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews. 

His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.
