A memorial service will be held at a later date for Betty Sue King, 78, Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.

Mrs. King died at 2:45 a.m., Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains, Missouri.

She was born January 19, 1935, at Stilwell, Oklahoma, to Walter E. Phillips and Nora Wilsey Phillips.  She had worked as a clerk with Missouri Pacific Railroad.  Mrs. King was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Thayer, Missouri.

She is survived by two children, Suzannah Irwin, husband, Leon, Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and Richard Lee, Leavenworth, Kansas; two granddaughters, Fancy Rudd and Elaine Whittington; and great-grandchildren, Katelin and Faith Rudd, Oscar Irwin, Holly and Suzannah Faulkner.

Her parents, husband, and one son, Daniel Lee, precede her in death.
