A memorial service for Billy Joe McKinney, 49, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2022, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. McKinney passed away at 5:24 a.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born March 28, 1973, at West Plains, Missouri, to Bobby Ray McKinney, Sr. and Shirley Jean Depue McKinney.  Mr. McKinney enjoyed working on vehicles, was a jack of all trades and loved his daughters with all of his heart.

He is survived by five children, Brittany Major, Makayla Hensley, Laiken McKinney, Poppy McKinney and Daisy McKinney; two grandsons, Isaiah Velarde and Jameson Major; two brothers, Bobby Ray McKinney, Jr. and Doyle McKinney; two sisters, Tammie Benje and Cathy Kimbrough; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, one infant child, one son, Justin Brown, one sister, Tina McKinney, one brother, Steven McKinney and his grandparents, Iva and Effie McKinney, preceded him in death.
