A memorial service will be held at a later date for Bruce Wayne Clayburn, 66, West Plains, Missouri.

Mr. Clayburn died at 3:55 a.m., Monday, May 25, 2015, at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born November 12, 1948, at Chicago, Illinois, to Richard Clayburn and Audrey Gibbons Clayburn.  He was married on January 15, 1977, at Bloomington, Illinois, to Donitta "Lynn" Nelson.  Mr. Clayburn was a retired veteran, having served with the United States Navy.  He was a member of Cloud 9 Ranch, where he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Clayburn, Desloge, Missouri; two daughters, Jennifer Clayburn, fiancé Joe Cook, Bloomington, Illinois and Cattie George, husband, Josh, West Plains, Missouri; five grandchildren, Shelby, Ashlea, Mason, Aubree and Kennedie; two sisters, Suzanne Rosenthal, husband, Richard and Patricia Kabrin, all of Chicago, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents and one brother, Richard "Dick" Clayburn, precede him in death.
