Graveside services for Carl Garland Martin, Jr., 64, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2013, at Black Creek Cemetery, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Martin died at 9:50 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2013, at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born April 6, 1949, at Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Carl Garland Martin Sr., and Clorena Morgan Martin.  On October 25, 1986, he was married at Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Melissa Goodwin.   He was a veteran, having served with the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.  Mr. Martin was a Christian.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Martin, six children, Carl A. Martin, wife, Patricia, Josh Martin, fiancée Tammy Lange, Cora Jane Smith, husband, David, Casey Smith, husband, Brian, Clorena Smith and Charles Smith; nine grandchildren; one brother, Lonnie Martin, wife, Kay, three sisters, Patty Bolinger, husband, Jeff, Lewonda Carolus and Lillie Noland, husband, Kevin.

His parents and two brothers precede him in death.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
