It is so hard to put into the words I would like to say at times like these I would just like for you to know I thought a lot of Carrie and I will truly miss her. She was a very kind and sweet person. God must have needed another angel very badly to have called her so soon. I know she will be smiling down as I go about the work I do I will do my best to make her proud. This world needs more people like Carrie.

It’s just so hard to have the right words at a time of such loss. This is one of those that we just have to trust The Lord has a plan. Carrie was so brave and fought to stay with her family she loved so much. The Lord is holding her now and he has a beautiful new angel. You are all in my prayers.

For the past 4-5 years I have had the pleasure to work with Carrie thru Riverways and the Southwest Missouri Office on Aging. A very friendly spirit lady but as she shared her journey with cancer I came to know a very courageous lady and appreciate our paths crossing.
