Funeral services for Airman First Class Luke Aaron Smith, 25, Kirkland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico and formerly of Bakersfield, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Langston Street Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

He died Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Airman First Class Smith was born December 29, 1988 at West Plains, Missouri to Howard Smith, Jr. and Elizabeth Friel Smith and was raised by Tim and Alice Williams.  He graduated from the Easter Sunrise Academy of Hardy, Arkansas. After graduation,  he worked for Foster Feed in Bakersfield, Missouri and had been a member of the Civil Air Patrol which influenced his decision to enter the United States Air Force.  Airman First Class Smith was an aerospace ground equipment specialist with the United States Air Force having been stationed for three years in Japan and currently serving at the Kirkland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He is survived by his uncle and aunt, Tim and Alice Williams, Bakersfield, Missouri; parents, Howard Smith, Jr. and Elizabeth Smith, West Plains, Missouri; his brothers and sisters, Temothy Williams, Jr., wife, Emily, Bakersfield, Missouri, Charity Porcius, husband, Marius, Jeffersonville, Indiana, Isaac Williams, wife, Richelle, Nampa, Idaho, Beth Williams, Michael Williams, Hattie Williams, Matthew Williams, Gabriel Williams, all of Bakersfield, Missouri, Ruth Smith, West Plains, Missouri, Vanessa Langley, husband, Michael, Searcy, Arkansas, Karen Wilson, husband, Jonny, Pangburn, Arkansas, Leta Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Serena Smith and David Smith, all of West Plains, Missouri; and eight nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 12th, at the Langston Street Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be close to his grandfather, James Friel at the Thayer City Cemetery, Thayer, Missouri.

A Memorial Service for Jack Ray Bridges, 83, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, September 14, 2014, at River of Life Church of God of Prophecy.

On September 9, 2014, Jack Bridges went to the Kingdom of God for his eternal life of youth, health and glory. The Holy Spirit comforted and gently took him through his transition to his eternal life after only a few hours at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born January 24, 1931. Jack was a quiet man, reserved and Godly with unbelievable inner strength. His eighty-three years of physical life began wearing the uniform the United States Marine Corps; after his military service he was the chief dispatcher for Halliburton for thirty-three years. Retirement brought him to the Ozarks where much of his family began and he truly enjoyed the nature and peacefulness it brought his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Cathy “Blondie” Bridges; grandson Peter Bridges, wife, Samantha, great-granddaughters, Ashlyn, Katlyn, Jaclyn and a great-great-granddaughter, Mykala; granddaughter Brandy Bridges Parker, great-granddaughters, Shealy, Macy and Elizabeth; great-great-granddaughter Amila; granddaughter Danielle Bridges, all of New Iberia, Louisiana; sister, Pat Arnold, husband, John, Carmi, Illinois; nieces, Teresa, State of Illinois, Linda, State of Oklahoma and Alicia, State of Wichita; nephews, Randy and Mike, State of Illinois, Rodney, New Orleans, Louisiana, Larry, Dennis and Randy, State of Florida.

His spirit will live on through all of us.

Final resting place will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Olden, Missouri, where he will be placed with his wife of sixty-three years, Wanda Bridges, who departed July 5, 2014, son, Terry, mother and father, Ruby and Amos Bridges, sister Billie June and many other family members that have gone before him.

A Memorial Service for Myron Clifford Ward, 80, Udall, Missouri, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Bridges Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Ward died at 2:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at his home.

He was born September 25, 1933, in the State of Nebraska to Willard H. Ward and Flora E. Foster Ward. Before his retirement, Mr. Ward was a mechanic at Union Pacific Railroad and was also the owner and operator of a bar and grill in North Platte, Nebraska for thirty-two years. Mr. Ward was a member of Eagles Club and loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing and working. He was a great story teller.

He is survived by his significant other, Ruby Robinson, Udall, Missouri; three children, Randall Allen Ward, Gennel Ward and Jerell Ward; two brothers, Wendell Ward, West Plains, Missouri and Dean Ward, Grand Island, Nebraska; and two sisters, LuEtta Clark and Lorene O’Dey, of the State of Nebraska. He was loved by his extended family which included Ruby’s children and grandchildren.

His parents and wife precede him in death.

Funeral services for Michael Don Carter, 63, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 4, 2014 in the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Carter died 2:09 p.m., Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born November 15, 1950 at West Plains, Missouri to Betty Jo Talley Carter and the late Cleve Carter, Jr. He graduated from the West Plains High School with the Class of 1968 and was a veteran having served with the United States Army First Infantry Division from 1970 to 1972. He had been employed at Bridges Auto Parts, West Plains Auto Parts, O’Reilly Auto Parts and was a cattle hauler. He loved riding his horses, enjoyed drag racing and loved spending time with his grandsons.

He is survived by two daughters, Sara Beck, husband, Michael, Bois D’Arc, Missouri and Kelli McKee, husband, Jason, West Plains, Missouri; the mother of his children, Debbie Bonham; his mother, Betty Jo Carter Green, husband, Kenneth, West Plains, Missouri; three grandsons, Colton, Caleb and Colby Thomas; significant other, Lisa Cook, West Plains, Missouri; two brothers, Gary Carter, wife, Cheryl, Marshfield, Missouri and Larry Carter, wife, Janice, Peace Valley, Missouri; Kenneth Green’s children, Dwayne Green, wife, Jan, Ronnie Green, wife, Kathy and Roger Green, wife, Wendy; and several nieces and nephews.

His father, step-father, Glenn Cook, and several aunts and uncles precede him in death.

Mr. Carter will lie in state from 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 3rd, until service time in the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Graveside services for Cleo Joan Hopper, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Howell Valley Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hopper died at 10:53 p.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born April 4, 1928, at Delavan, Illinois, to Dwight and Mildred Thompson Winchester. In 1955, she was married to Lyle Hopper, who preceded her in death. Before her retirement, she was a secretary and data entry specialist for the Civil Service at a Naval Base. Her family was her life; she will be greatly missed by her family and extended family. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, bull riding and her favorite soap operas.

She is survived by four children, Steven Hopper, West Plains, Missouri, Randall Hopper, wife, Joan, Seattle, Washington, Darrell Hopper, Sparks, Nevada and Heidi Griffin, husband, Steve, West Plains, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Michael Riordan, wife, Jean, Bloomington, Illinois; two sisters, Stanna Breen, Bloomington, Illinois and Linda Loggins, husband, Harvey, Peoria, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents and husband precede her in death.

Graveside services for James Larry Peoples, 71, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 31, 2014, at Oak Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Peoples died at 6:30 a.m., Thursday, August 28, 2014, at his home.

He was born April 20, 1943, at Harrison, Arkansas, to Arthur James Peoples and Edna Mae Carter Davis Peoples. On October 15, 1961, he was married at Lanton, Missouri, to Brenda Kenslow. Mr. Peoples was a veteran having served with the United States Navy. He was a bus driver for Glenwood School and was known as “Grandpap” by the children. Mr. Peoples had also worked at Empire Gas, E. H. Carroll Trucking and the Howell County Sheriff’s Department. He was firefighter with the Lanton Fire Department where he served as Fire Chief for many years. He enjoyed farming. Mr. Peoples was a Christian and was baptized at Hilltop Chapel as a teenager.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Peoples, of the family home; four children, Larry Peoples, wife, Anita, West Plains, Missouri, Timothy Peoples, of the family home, Johnny Peoples, Memphis, Tennessee and Jimmy Peoples, wife, Kim, West Plains, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Alex, Carissa, Brooke, Austin, Lakota, Dalton, Adam, Nathan and wife, Katlyn, Logan and Abbey; five step-granddaughters, Trista, Renita, Amber, Kate and Britnie; and two step-great-granddaughters, Lydia and Anna Sue.

His parents and three brothers, Billy Wayne Peoples and wife, Ruth, Dale Peoples and Johnny Peoples , precede him in death.

Visitation service for Richard Howard Davidson, 85, Bakersfield, Missouri, will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 30, 2014, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Davidson died at 9:25 p.m., Monday, August 25, 2014, at his home.

He was born July 2, 1929, at Chicago, Illinois, to Ernest Hugo and Augusta Marie Davidson. On June 20, 1953, he was married at Chicago, Illinois, to Dolores Florence Geisen, who preceded him in death on June 22, 2007. Mr. Davidson was a veteran, having served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Before his retirement, he was a truck driver, was the owner/operator of a gas station and worked at B. F. Goodrich Tire. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He loved his grandchildren and was known as “Papa D”. Mr. Davidson was of the Swedish Lutheran faith.

He is survived by four children, Martin Davidson, Bakersfield, Missouri, Maureen Miles, husband, Michael, Highland, Illinois, John Davidson, wife, Debbie, Lake Station, Indiana and Joan Den Hartog, husband, Jay, Cedar Lake, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren with one on the way.

His parents, wife, one son, Ernest Davidson and one grandson, precede him in death.

He was born December 9, 1937, at Albia, Iowa, to Leo Gladson and Esther Courtney Gladson. On April 26, 1958, he was married at Corinth, Mississippi to Stella Louise Pugh, who preceded him in death on February 25, 2011.

He was born January 27, 1933, at Hartville, Missouri, to Russell Leonard Walker and Marchia Pearl Collins Walker.

He is survived by three brothers, Dean Walker, wife, Saundra, West Plains, Missouri, Ralph Walker, significant other, Charlene Wharton and Donnie Walker, wife, Doris, Denver, Colorado; two sisters, Shirley Andrews, significant other, J.R. Ellison, West Plains, Missouri and Edna Walker, Springfield, Missouri; sister-in-law, Sally Walker, Phoenix, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.

His parents, three brothers, Clifford, Robert Lee and Leonard Ray, two sisters, Freda Hunt and Jewel Grace Walker, two sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Jenny Walker, two nephews, Larry Wayne Andrews and Russell Walker and one niece, Debra Babeon, precede him in death.

Mrs. Fowler died at 3:42 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at her home.

She was born June 27, 1934, at Horry County, South Carolina, to William Kelly Fowler and Eva Hilburn Fowler. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, country music, watching westerns and loved to dance. Mrs. Fowler was a member of the Little Bethel Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Wayne Gore, wife, Charlotte, West Plains, Missouri; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one brother, Norman Fowler, Green Sea, South Carolina.

Her parents, second husband, Jerry Shelly, one son, Ronald C. Gore and four brothers, precede her in death.

A private celebration of life service for James Calvin “JC” Dodge, Jr., 72, West Plains, Missouri, will be held by the family.

JC died from a long illness at 6:40 a.m., Sunday, August 17, 2014, at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born August 8, 1942, at Rockland, Massachusetts, to James Calvin Dodge and Lindy Lutheran Dodge. On June 15, 1962, he was married to his beautiful wife, Margaret “Peggy” Clifford. JC owned his own trucking company, worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a teamster. He was a very hard worker and loved life. He taught his family to respect others and to work hard. He often said “do as I say and not as a do because there are things your eyes and ears shouldn’t see”. JC loved animals and throughout his life surrounded himself with horses, dogs, goats and livestock. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and in his younger years they were his only means of transportation. He always looked his children in the eyes when he spoke and taught them that is a sign of honesty and respect. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Dodge, West Plains, Missouri; five children, James Dodge, wife, Peggy, Willow Springs, Missouri, John S. Dodge, wife, Beth, Mountain View, Missouri, Jeff Dodge, State of California, Janine Griffin, husband, Lester, State of California and Joyann Cabrera, husband, Rudy, State of California; eight grandchildren, James Dodge, Jr. Nicole Marie Dodge, Katlyn Leigh Dodge, Chad Scott Dodge, Tyler Griffin, Courtney Griffin, Landon Faulkner and Wyatt Scott Dodge; one great-grandchild, Kyah; and one sister, Lindy Holt, Henson, Massachusetts.

Graveside services for Rodney Alan Jarvis, 46, West Plains, Missouri, will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 20,2014 at the Baptist Hill Cemetery near Bakersfield, Missouri under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Jarvis died 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at his home. He was born March 18, 1968 at West Plains, Missouri to Peggy Williams Jarvis-DeShazo and the late Jerry Lee Jarvis.  He graduated from the Bakersfield High School and had attended real estate school. He had owned and operated a Century 21 Real Estate office, was owner of several rental properties and had worked at the Moody Service Station and Grocery. Mr. Jarvis had served as the president of the West Plains Board of Realtors, loved antiques, gardening and was a great interior designer.  He had a big sense of humor, loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and his favorite boys, Gordy and Boomer.  Mr. Jarvis had attended the Elijah Church of Christ.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Jarvis-DeShazo, Moody, Missouri; his sister, Sonya Hubbard, husband, Doug, West Plains, Missouri;  nieces and nephews, Kasey Friend, husband, Davin, Nikki Jarvis, Kaiyla Holt, husband, Edmond, Kyle Jarvis, special friend, Olivia, Sean Jarvis, wife, Jennifer, Jeremy Jarvis, wife,  Kirsten, Stephanie Nelson, husband, Trace, Nicole Hubbard and Dillon Hubbard;  uncle, Jack Williams, wife, Lexie;  many special cousins; best friend, Tina Joice and very special friends, Travis, Dalton and Josh.

His grandparents, father, and two brothers, Ricky Lynn Jarvis and Rex Kevin Jarvis, precede him in death.

Funeral services for Wilma Lodema DeShazo, 82, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 18, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of West Plains under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. DeShazo died 12:15 p.m., Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. She was born November 29, 1931 at Thayer, Missouri to William Wiley Stapleton and Thelma Lodema Shepard Stapleton. On June 25, 1950, she was married at the Amy Union Chapel at Hocomo, Missouri to Wayne DeShazo.   Mrs. DeShazo was a long time representative for Stanley Home Products; she was a member of the Amy Union Workers and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.  Mrs. DeShazo was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Plains.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne DeShazo, of the family home; five children, Bruce DeShazo, wife, Anna, Glenpool, Oklahoma, Michael DeShazo, wife, Lori, Rocheport, Missouri, Larry DeShazo, Diana Brown, husband, Danny and Melinda Brenton, husband, Bryan, all of West Plains, Missouri; twelve grandchildren, Kevin DeShazo, wife, Megan, Michael DeShazo, Jr., Christopher DeShazo, Lance DeShazo, Crystal DeShazo, Carly DeShazo, Daniel DeShazo, Austin DeShazo, Devin Brown, wife, Amanda, Danielle Brown, Makayla Ray and Brandy Woody; eight great-grandchildren; and several special nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her parents and two brothers, J.W. Stapleton and William Stapleton, precede her in death.

Mrs. DeShazo was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; God , family and friends were her life.

Graveside services for Charles Benjamin Barrett, Jr., 55, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 15, 2014, at South Fork Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Barrett died at 6:58 p.m., Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born July 23, 1959, at New Orleans, Louisiana, to Charles Benjamin Barrett and Irene Pearl Brubaker Barrett. Mr. Barrett was self-employed and spent many years re-building cars, which he enjoyed. He loved to ride his motorcycle and enjoyed participating in benefit rides with the Am Vets in honor of his father. Mr. Barrett was a Christian.

He is survived by his sons, Levi and Cody Barrett and his twin daughters, Jazmine and Jade Barrett; one brother, Howard Turner, West Plains, Missouri; two sisters, Cathy Roberts and husband, Jerry and Susan Ray, all of West Plains, Missouri.

His parents precede him in death.

Rhonda D. Quinn, 55, died August 11th, 2014 at her home. Ms. Quinn was born June 1st, 1959 in Springfield, Missouri to Cecil and Judy Quinn. She grew up and attended school in Willow Springs, Missouri, later moving to West Plains where she worked in a variety of occupations before settling into long term employment with Trent Drilling; drilling water wells. Though the work was physically demanding, she loved her job assisting the business owner, and friend, Rex Trent, until his retirement in 2010.

She is survived by her daughter, Ragina Faith Shaw and husband, Patrick; two grandchildren, Sidney and Bodhi; two step-grandchildren, Tristan and Kellan; four siblings, Cynthia Judy and husband, Gerald, Hale, Missouri, Bobbi Tipton and husband, Robert, Pomona, Missouri, Paul Quinn and wife, Deborah, Mechanicsville, Virginia and Raegan Reynolds and husband Jimmy, Koshkonong, Missouri; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Throughout her life, Rhonda was hardworking, fun loving, and enjoyed both the company of family and close friends, and the peaceful solitude of nature. She loved animals, and had many beloved pets over the years, leaving behind two cats and a dog which are noticeably distraught by her sudden and complete absence. She had a special connection with children and animals, and was adored by her grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She led a simple, hardworking, and courageous life, and loved her family and friends very, very much. Irreplaceable, she passed from this world too soon, and will be missed deeply by her loved ones. Her smile, her laugh, her homespun wisdom, and her genuine childlike soul quietly supported and added to the quality of the lives she touched in that almost imperceptible way that is only most noticed when it is lost, like the air we breathe, or the warmth of the sun on our skin on cool autumn afternoons. Farewell, Rhonda, you are one of the real ones, the good ones, and we love you now and for always.

Due to the sudden and unexpected nature of her death, a private memorial will be held by her family on Saturday, August 16, 2014.

Funeral services for Chester Franklin Dildine, 92, St. Peters, Missouri, formerly of West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2014, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Dildine died at 2:40 a.m., Sunday, August 10, 2014, at Garden View Care Center, O’Fallon, Missouri.

He was born July 18, 1922, at Ellsinore, Missouri, to Chester Arthur and Violet May Wheeley Dildine. On December 26, 1941, he was married at Doniphan, Missouri, to Jewel Deckard.   He and Jewel were married for seventy-two and a half years. He retired in 1984 from Keene Corporation and moved to West Plains. Chester liked to walk and recycle and was known around West Plains as the can man and was recognized several times over the years in the local newspapers of West Plains. He had celebrated five generations in his Family for the last five years.

He is survived by his wife, Jewel Dildine; three daughters, Annette Woelfel, husband, John, St. Peters, Missouri, who he had lived with for the last four years; Emilie Voyles, husband, Melvin, Van Buren, Missouri and Wanda Denton, West Plains, Missouri; seven grandchildren, David Jolley, wife, Karrie, Fenton, Missouri, Steven Jolley, wife, Michelle, West Plains, Missouri, Melvin Voyles, wife, Theresa, Van Buren, Missouri, David Pind, Warrenton, Missouri, Jackie Darien, Warrenton, Missouri, Angelina Denton Howell and Teena Denton, both of West Plains; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virgie Dodd, husband, Charles, Florissant, Missouri and Unath Hinton, Grandin, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

His parents, one daughter, Juanita Dildine, one grandson, Leonard Voyles and three sisters, Alma Hogan, Delma Ritchey and Elsie Dildine, precede him in death.

Graveside services for Traci Dawn Owens, 37, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at Union Cemetery, Union, Arkansas, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Traci died at 1:00 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2014, at her home.

She was born August 29, 1976, at Salem, Arkansas, to Homer “Sonny” Owens and Marilyn Teresa Desmarais Owens. Traci was a loyal friend and loved her family very much. She also loved her “son” Tokie. She never knew a stranger and was like a second mom to many kids and was a very humorous and kind hearted person. Traci was a Christian.

She is survived by her father, Sonny Owens, Moxee, Washington; six brothers and sisters, Gary Owens, Salem, Arkansas, Diana Owens, Ozark, Missouri, Brenda Kohler, husband, David, Koshkonong, Missouri, Joey Owens, Koshkonong, Missouri, Denise Carter, husband, Doug, West Plains, Missouri, and Mikey Owens, Dini, Alabama; nieces and nephews, Chasity Carter and husband, Ted, Joseph Hamilton, Little Gary Owens, Courtney Carter, Bub Carter, Corey Owens, Wyatt Owens, Amanda Owens, Fraley Boss and husband Jay, Jordan Owens, Dustin Helm and Kaley Kohler; great-nieces and great-nephews, Paige Hollis, Ryan Hollis, McKenna Boss, Clover Boss and Alex Helm; many friends; and her “son” Tokie.

Her mother, one sister, Amanda Owens, grandparents, Spikey “C. L.” and Ollie Owens and Joseph and Esther Desmarais, nephew, Shawn Owens, Aunt, Barbara Owens, cousin Shane and sister-in-law, Honey Owens, precede her in death.

Funeral services for Georgia Burnica Thompson, 88, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2014, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thompson died at 7:25 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2014, at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born August 10, 1925, at Trail, Missouri, to William Riley Hicks and Lola Tate Hicks. On June 9, 1944, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Acie A. Thompson, who preceded her in death on April 24, 1995. Mrs. Thompson cooked for Fairview school for many years, worked at Biscayne Market and was a babysitter to many children who still referred to her as Grandma Thompson. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle.

She is survived by three children, Billy Thompson, wife, Linda, Gladstone, Missouri, Roger Thompson, wife, Patty, West Plains, Missouri and Lola Pattillo, husband, Rex, West Plains, Missouri; six grandchildren, Jennifer Pattillo, Houston, Texas, Crystal Blanks and husband, Richie, West Plains, Missouri, Connie Thompson and Carol Munkirs, both of Gladstone, Missouri, Jeff Thompson and Misty Thompson, both of West Plains, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren, Jennifer Munkirs, Michelle Munkirs, Madison Thompson, Morgan Thompson, Samantha Stiner, Jared Blanks and Zack Blanks; one sister, Juanita Smith, West Plains, Missouri; one brother, William Hicks, wife, Minnie, West Plains, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, three sisters, Pauline Billups and husband, Fred, Iretta Young, Lorene Aborn and husband, Robert, one brother, Dwayne Hicks and one great-grandchild, Beau Stiner, precede her in death.

Funeral services for Leon Todd, 77, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2014, at Free Union Church of Christ, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Todd died at 3:14 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2014, at Fulton County Hospital.

He was born August 15, 1936, at Wasco, California to Robert Henry Todd and Katie “Pauline” McElmurry Todd. On July 1, 1967, he was married at Moody, Missouri, to Eva Lois Deatherage. Mr. Todd was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy. Before his retirement, he was a welder at DRS. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Todd was a member of the Church of Christ, and attended Free Union Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Todd, of the family home; two sons, Robert “Bobby” Todd, wife, April, Viola, Arkansas and Baty Todd, wife, Alisha, Springfield, Missouri; two grandchildren, Bella and Anna; two brothers-in-law, Roe Deatherage, wife, Cathy, West Plains, Missouri and Kenny Deatherage, Moody, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Belle Yeager, husband, Steve, Moody, Missouri; one uncle, Gene Todd, Greenfield, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

His parents, brother-in-law, Lawrence Deatherage and sister-in-law, Cathy Deatherage, precede him in death.
