Graveside services for Marcus Sparks, 80, West Plains, Missouri will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 2, 2014, at Bly-Big Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Sparks died at 7:35 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at his home.

He was born August 10, 1934, in Yadkin County, North Carolina, to Hugh and Grace Sparks. While serving in the United States Army, Sparky was stationed in West Germany on the border patrol. He moved to Peoria where he met and married Betty Lou Marshall of Hocomo, Missouri and worked at ABC washing machines. He spent twenty-six years as a switchman at the Rock Island Railroad. Betty Lou and Sparky retired in 1994 and moved to West Plains to catch the big bass in the Lakes of Arkansas. On July 31 the couple celebrated their 54^th wedding anniversary.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Sparks; three children, Kim Sparks, Kathy Sparks Edwards and Curtis Sparks, wife, Tiffany; seven grandchildren, Marcus Sparks, wife, Tiffany, Emily Fisher, husband, Jason, Megan Beize, husband, Joe, Caleb Edwards, Abby Sparks, Andrew Sparks and Marshall Edwards; six great-grandchildren, Morgan Sparks, Jayley Fisher, Addison Fisher, Lydia Fisher, Madison Beize and Calvin Fisher; two brothers, Wayne Sparks, wife, Betty and Ricky Sparks, wife Judy; and one sister, Edith Brammer, husband, Woody.

His parents and one son, Douglas Reese Sparks , precede him in death.

Graveside services for Garry Allan Walker, 67, West Plains, Missouri will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Pottersville Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Walker died at 12:58 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at his home.

He was born July 13, 1947, at Pottersville, Missouri, to Willie Harrison Walker and Flossie Jewell Yocum Walker. Garry graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1966. On May 31, 1969, he was married in Howell County, Missouri, to Mary Jane Lunn. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and horseback riding. Garry accepted Christ on October 19, 2014

He is survived by his wife, Mary Walker, of the family home; one brother, Gene Walker, West Plains; one step-brother, Hobart Sweat, Fredericktown, Missouri; two step-sisters, Vada Downen and May Dean Callaway, both of West Plains; two brothers-in-law, Jolly Morgan, Kansas City, Missouri and Melvin Lunn, wife, Rhonda, Oak Grove, Missouri; and four sisters-in-law, Lovern Walker, West Plains, Freda Lunn, Pomona, Missouri, Patricia Lunn, West Plains and Veda Johnson, husband, Daniel, West Plains.

His parents, step-mother, Nancy, one brother, James Walker, one sister, Alene Morgan, two step-brothers, James and Johnny Manley, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Orvis B. and Gladys Lunn and one sister-in-law, Betty Walker, precede him in death.

Funeral services for Charles Jack “Chuck” Boone, 52, Mountain Grove, Missouri, formerly of West Plains, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Center of God Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Boone died Sunday, October 26, 2014, at his home.

He was born January 9, 1962, at Batesville, Arkansas, to Douglas “Jack” Boone and Frances “Gaye” Stevens Boone. On July 19, 1996, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Shalana Sue Johnson. Chuck was a well-known radio announcer for thirty-five years. Before coming to West Plains, he did radio at Missouri State University at Springfield; he worked at KKDY and KHOM in West Plains and KKountry 95 in Thayer, as well as announcing Zizzer football games.  He helped many up and coming artists by playing their songs and had met numerous celebrities during his radio career and won several radio announcing awards. Chuck was a caring and giving person; always wanting to help others, especially children. He was involved in several charities and fund raisers going above and beyond in helping the community, including St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, United Way, American Heart Association and American Cancer Society. Even though Chuck’s health was declining, he still helped people and was an inspiration to others. He loved golf and bowling.

He is survived by his wife, Shalana Boone, of the family home; one son, Shawn Boone, Mountain Grove, Missouri; and one aunt, Barbara Hickenbotham.

His parents, one brother, Scott Boone and an infant sister, precede him in death.

A Memorial service for Paul Eugene White, 77, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 1, 2014, at New Hope Baptist Church.

Mr. White died at 11:40 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2014, at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born September 24, 1937, at Fisher, Illinois, to Paul Eugene “Curly” White and June Tarroff White Harper. On April 17, 1987, he was married at St. Louis, Missouri, to Marguerite Roeder.  He was a veteran, having served with the Untied States Air Force.  Mr. White was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Marguerite White; nine children, Donna White, significant other, Richard Blanchard, David White, wife, Marcia, Paula Jean Haddan, husband, Joe, Wanda Gayle Jernigan, husband, Jerry, Anne Marie Blogeett, husband, Phillip, Alychia Wilkins, fiance’, John Atzer, Raquel Wilkins, significant other, Michael Latham, Fredrick Wilkins and Tonya Stone, husband, Travis; twenty-two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Chuck Freeman, wife, Jackie and Phillip Freeman; two sisters, Pamela Mayuric and Patricia Wood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His parents precede him in death.

Graveside services for Rhonda Jo Hovey, 52, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at the Thayer City Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Rhonda died at 3:25 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2014, at her home.

She was born August 10, 1962, at Salem, Arkansas, to Garland Joe Taylor and Geraldine Patricia Alvord Taylor. Rhonda was a nurse in the emergency department at Ozarks Medical Center.

She is survived by two sons, Zachary Hovey and Ian Hovey, both of West Plains; one grandchild, Paydon Werner; her parents, Joe and Geri Taylor, Thayer, Missouri; brother-in-law, Dirk Shultz, Thayer, Missouri; and two special nephews, Jordan Shultz and wife, Hannah and Jesse Shultz.

A celebration of life service for Camber Pazely Anne Piper, 1, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at United Freewill Baptist Church, West Plains, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Jason Roberts and Dennis McGinley. Pallbearers will be her grandfathers, Keith Armstrong and Chris Piper. Camber’s smile shines on her family today and always.

Camber went to be with the Angels at 6:24 p.m., Thursday, October 23, 2014, at Ozarks Medical Center.

She blessed Ben and Austi Piper with her arrival into this world on August 13, 2013. There was no doubt she was loved by her family, even before she entered this world. Camber was a blessing beyond belief. Her toothy grin lit up a room and her laugh was infectious. Camber was a petite thing, with personality as big as Heaven itself. Her big bright eyes, passed down from her momma, were her signature asset. Those eyes will never be forgotten. Camber enjoyed music with her momma and dancing with her daddy. She was a very proud big sister. She loved to kiss and love on her sister anytime she had the chance. Camber was determined, smart and independent. Playing with her toys, cell phones and remotes gave her much joy. She loved Minnie Mouse and watching Doc McStuffins and loved packing around her Lambie and baby doll. Camber enjoyed bath time from the start and loved splashing around in the tub. There wasn’t a meal you could put in front of her that she didn’t like. She had so much fun playing peek-a-boo and ball. She was quite the ham and the light of everyone’s lives; watching her grow and learn was a tremendous blessing to all who knew her. Her mixture of sweetness and spunk was a combination so perfect, only God could create it. Although she will be missed beyond belief, her family and friends will keep their memories of her close to get them through, until they meet again. Her light will never fade.

She is survived by her parents, Ben and Austi Piper; one sister, Crimson Piper; grandparents, Chris and Sheri Piper, Kim Johnson and Keith Armstrong; great-grandparents, Don and Shirley McCracken, Mary Ann and Lonnie Collins, Joyce Piper, Jackie Robbins, Delores Armstrong and Loretta Ball; aunts, Alix Overstreet, husband Doug and Sonnie Piper; and uncles, Aden Johnson and Andrew Johnson.

Graveside services for Evelyn “Joyce” Henry, 76, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2014, at Oak Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Henry died at 7:15 p.m., Thursday, October 23, 2014, at West Vue Nursing Center.

She was born March 30, 1938, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to William Robert Koendarfer and Clara Geneva Deatherage Koendarfer. On September 6, 1971, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Bobby Lee Henry, who preceded her in death August 1, 2010. Before her retirement she had been employed with International Shoe Company and Sears. Joyce was fun loving with a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She enjoyed playing bingo and working on her computer. Mrs. Henry attended the First Christian Church.

She is survived by three children, Martha Combs, husband, Rick, Lingle, Wyoming, Renee Stephens, husband, Greg, West Plains, Missouri and Ron Faulkner, wife, Vangie, Arlington, Texas; two step-children, Rick Henry, wife, Sandy, Joplin, Missouri and Rita Hartwigsen, Monett, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Eugene Koendarfer, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; one sister, Paulette Carol Pace, husband, Al, Arkansas Pass, Texas; one half-brother, Craig Koendarfer, State of California; many nieces and nephews; special friends of “Sisterhood”, Nita, Patty, Ginger and Pam; friends, Betty Anderson, Jean Fine, Emilee Eades; and many, many more friends.

He was born August 3, 2012, at West Plains, Missouri, to Otis Jones and Heather Lowry.

He is survived by his mother, Heather Lowry, of the family home; one sister, Andrea Hord; one brother, Jayden Curnutt; aunt and uncles, Kelly and Jonathon Hensley and John Kyle Lowry; and “Granny” Sharon Rothgeb, Willow Springs, Missouri.

He is preceded in death by one sister, Rae Lynn Lowry.

Mr. Stewart died at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2014, at his home.

He was born October 9, 1942, at Fort Devens, Massachusetts, to Charles R. Stewart, Jr., and Ruth Taylor Stewart. On December 23, 1961, he was married at Flippin, Arkansas, to Judy McCracken. Charles was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, moved to Flippin, Arkansas in 1962 and then to West Plains, Missouri, in 1973. He was a fishing guide in Arkansas, a carpenter and farmer. Charles was a loving and caring man that could do almost any task he set his mind to do. He will be missed by many. Charles and Judy have a number of young people they feel was their kids. He was known as “Pa Charles” to many. Charles was a Christian and attended His Place, where Greg and Angie made a great impact on his life.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Stewart, of the family home; one daughter, Charlene McKee, husband, Craig, Caulfield, Missouri; two grandsons, Cody McKee, wife, Jessica and Chad McKee, all of West Plains, Missouri; one niece, Donna Redburn; one nephew, Monty McCracken; one special sister-in-law, Gussie McCracken; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

His parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Guy and Elma McCracken and brother-in-law, Don McCracken, precede him in death.

Mr. Goodwin died at 6:04 p.m., Thursday, October 16, 2014, at his home.

He was born September 16, 1932, at West Plains, Missouri, to Ray Goodwin and Helen Marguerite Ingold Goodwin. On September 30, 1961, he was married at Hubbard, Iowa, to Anita Marie Cowell, who preceded him in death on December 26, 2006. Mr. Goodwin was a veteran, having served with the United States Marines.

He is survived by three children, Ronnie Goodwin, Robert Goodwin, wife, Judy and Ricky Goodwin, all of West Plains, Missouri; one grandchild, Kasey Rae Goodwin; one sister, Susan Carlson, San Tan Valley, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, wife and one brother, Jim Goodwin, precede him in death.

Daniyel died at 7:01p.m., Monday, October 20, 2014, at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born July 11, 1993, at Krasnoyilsk, Ukraine, to Tanasiy Pleshka and Mariya Motrescu Pleshka. Daniyel graduated from West Plains Senior High with the Class of 2012 and was currently attending Missouri State University at West Plains while working at NHC Healthcare.

He is survived by his parents, Tanasiy and Mariya Pleshka, West Plains, Missouri; two brothers, Nikolay Pleshka and fiancée, Hunter LaFevers, Springfield, Missouri and Anton Pleshka and special friend, Jaynel Oaks, Springfield, Missouri; and one aunt, Lidia Pleshka, West Plains, Missouri.

He was born October 13, 2014, at West Plains, Missouri, to Shane Waggoner and Ruth Margaret Burke Waggoner.

He is survived by his parents, Shane and Ruth Waggoner, of the family home; one brother, Gavin, of the family home; grandparents, Gary and Nancy Burke, Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Kirby and Rhonda Waggoner, West Plains, Missouri; paternal great-grandmother, Marjorie Kinder, Sturkie, Arkansas; and many aunts and uncles.

Funeral services for Loretta Carter, 70, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2014, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Loretta passed from this life to be with her heavenly father October 14, 2014 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born at Hardy, Arkansas on September 27, 1944, the youngest of six children, to Lonnie and Pearl Wicker Baldridge. Loretta was raised a member of the Church of Christ and was baptized as a child of God, she was an angel on earth and had a deep sense of faith and is now rejoicing in Heaven with all of God’s Angels.

Loretta was married in 1967 to Norman Blake Dickison who preceded her in death March 19, 1975 and to this union, two children were born, Diana J. Acklin and Linda Armstrong. In 1976, Loretta met and in 1987 married her soul mate, Ross Lee Carter, who preceded her in death December 18, 1998 and to this union one child was born, Joanna Brown, completing their family of devoted daughters.

Loretta was a resident of West Plains for forty-seven years and was an expert self- employed seamstress. She also worked for many establishments in West Plains including Luna’s Dry Cleaners and Murrell’s Dry Cleaners as well as working in the fabric department at Walmart for some time. In her later years, she was employed as a caregiver and enjoyed working and caring for people. She had a huge heart and cared deeply for the elderly people she worked with, she developed strong bonds and mourned each passing. Loretta was a loving mother and grandmother to all of her children and made many sacrifices. She is deeply loved by her family and friends who knew her.

Loretta is survived by her three daughters, Diana Acklin, husband, Mike, West Plains, Linda Armstrong, husband, Nick, Ava, Missouri and Joanna Brown, special friend, Mark Lowe, West Plains; her beloved grandchildren, Fraley Boss, husband, Jay, Ozark, Missouri, Jordan Owens, Valparaisa, Florida, Emily Stirn, husband, Mike, Layla Acklin, fiancé, Kennith Collins, Shelby Acklin, Poppy and Daisy McKinney, all of West Plains and Elijah Romans, Brandsville, Missouri; three great-granddaughters, Klover and Makyna Boss and Rayne Collins; and several special nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Mitchell died at 8:25 a.m., Monday, October 13, 2014, at her home.

She was born February 22, 1935, in Howell County, Missouri, to Leslie Howard and Lillie Joyce Howard. On January 2, 1952, she was married at Wynne, Arkansas, to Eugene Mitchell.  Before her retirement she was employed with GTE. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bakersfield, Missouri.

She is survived by two children, Gary Mitchell, Bakersfield, Missouri and James Mitchell, wife, Daisha, Nixa, Missouri; one granddaughter, whom she and Eugene raised, Tammy Sue Key, Bakersfield, Missouri; and four great-grandchildren, Riki Lynn, Jame Jo, Tyler and Kayra Sue.

Her parents, husband and two daughters, Carolyn Riverdahl and Kathleen Wooley, precede her in death.

Funeral services for Lexi Kathleen Calderon, 11, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Lexi died 5:40 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2014 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. She was born December 17, 2002 at Phoenix, Arizona to Amy Morrissey.  Lexi loved her family and loved people.  She enjoyed listening to music and being read to. Lexi had a strong soul and had taught everyone what it meant not to give up.

She is survived by her mother, Amy Morrissey, of the family home; two brothers, Lucas Cyr, significant other, Catherine Huckabey and Lane Cyr, all of West Plains, Missouri; her uncle, Phil Morrissey, West Plains, Missouri; two cousins, Alysha Morrissey and Jeramie Morrissey, both of West Plains, Missouri; many aunts and uncles including Ann and Les Kinsler, Beth and L. B. Bouthfman, Tim and Lindy Morrissey, Trish Morrissey, Maggie Morrissey and Mona Morrissey.

Her grandparents, Bob and Kate Morrissey and one uncle, Jim Morrissey, precede her in death.

Mrs. Cole died Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born February 5, 1942, at West Plains, Missouri, to George Allen Bandy and Wilma Jeanne Ingalsbe Bandy.   On November 23, 1990, she was married at Arlington, Texas, to Ronald V. Cole, who preceded her in death on November 13, 2009. She had an infectious laugh and was loved by everyone. Mrs. Cole was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by two children, Edward Lee Hoover, wife, Dana, West Plains, Missouri and James Allen Hoover, Licking, Missouri; three grandchildren; Melissa Hoover, fiancé, Jesse Hawkins, Alyssia Smith, husband, Joey and Samantha Hoover, fiancé, Cody Duncan; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Alan Bandy, wife, April, Willow Springs, Missouri; four sisters, Linda Frazier, West Plains, Missouri, Brenda Stevens, husband, Leigh, Crestview, Florida, Margaret Gobel, husband, Raymond, West Plains, Missouri and Jeanne McCormack, husband, Keith, Frederick, Oklahoma; three step-children, Mark Cole, Rachelle Harms and Renee Fountain; five step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation services for Laura Jeanette Huff, 53, West Plains, Missouri, will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Huff died at 5:00 a.m., Saturday, October 4, 2014, at Cox South, Springfield, Missouri.

She was born April 26, 1961, at Chicago, Illinois, to Leonard Burch and Jean Freeston Burch. She was married in 1988 at Viola, Arkansas, to Kenneth Charles Huff. Mrs. Huff worked in medical records at Ozarks Medical Center. She was a loving wife, caring mother and cherished daughter. She excelled at making handcrafted items and making people happy and was a good overall person.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Huff, of the family home; one daughter, Courtney Collins, West Plains, Missouri; one grandson, Toby; her parents, Leonard and Jean Burch; and four sisters, Linda Webb, Debra Purol, Vivian Burch and Paula May.

Funeral services for Randy Neal York, 49, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 9, 2014, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. York died at 5:17p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2014, at Mercy St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.

He was born April 27, 1965, at Des Plains, Illinois, to K. A. York and Jeannie Kenslow York. On May 18, 1984, he was married at Lanton, Missouri, to Patty Thomas. Mr. York was employed with Brad Guffey Motors. He loved his family, kids, grandkids, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and hunting. Randy always put others first.

He is survived by his wife, Patty York, of the family home; three children, Jennifer Gunter, husband, Eugene, West Plains, Missouri, Dylan York, significant other, Whitney Atwell, West Plains, Missouri and Shane York, of the family home; three grandchildren, Kaebrynn Gunter, Bryleigh York and Kreed Gunter; his father, K.A. York, Lanton, Missouri; three brothers, Rick York, wife, Vanessa, Ryan York and Jason York, all of West Plains; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Dana Thomas, West Plains; two brothers-in-law, Micheal Thomas and Daniel Thomas; one sister-in-law, Crystie Thomas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

His mother, Jeannie York, precedes him in death.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Dripping Springs Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of choice, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Robert Joe Koelling, 68, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 10, 2014, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Koelling died at 6:13 p.m., Sunday, October 5, 2014, at Cox South, Springfield, Missouri.

He was born June 22, 1946, at Ephrata, Washington, to Glen Koelling and Dorothy Schrag Koelling. He graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1964. He enjoyed farming and collected baseball cards.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Koelling; one sister, Gladys Ball, husband, Kenneth, West Plains, Missouri; one nephew, Gary Hensley, Jr., wife, Rachel, O’Fallon, Missouri; great-nephew and great-niece, Emmett and Evelyn; and many cousins and friends.

His father precedes him in death.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to MSU Foundation for Zizzer Class of 1964 nursing scholarship, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mary Susan Danley, 58, Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 5, 2014, at Family Life Church, Dora, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Danley died at 1:04 a.m., Friday, October 3, 2014, at Baxter Regional Medical Center.

She was born December 17, 1955, at St. Charles, Missouri, to Clyde Earl Grisham and Reba Mae Terry Grisham.  She was married December 8, 2001, at Harrison, Arkansas, to William Wright Danley.  Mrs. Danley had worked at Baxter Lab.

Mrs. Danley will lie in state from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Saturday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  The family will receive their friends beginning at 1:00 p.m., prior to the service at the Family Life Church.  Burial will be at the Ball Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Home Renal Center, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
