Constance (Yerk) Farel passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022, at the age of seventy-seven years

The daughter of Viola and Clarence Yerk, Constance grew up in the Baptist and Methodist faiths.  She married Gene Farel in Belvidere, Illinois.  Mrs. Farel loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Gene Farel, of the family home; one son, Marc Farel, Belvidere, Illinois; one son-in-law, Tom Shattuck, Poplar Grove, Illinois; three granddaughters, Emily Kusters (Brett) and Hannah Farrell, Racine, Wisconsin, and Jenna Shattuck, Poplar Grove, Illinois; one grandson, Evan Shattuck, Poplar Grove, Illinois; one great-grandson, Wallace Kusters, Racine, Wisconsin; three sisters, Shirley of Belvidere, Wisconsin, Doris of Sharon, Wisconsin, and Margaret of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Michelle (Missy) Shattuck, her mother, Viola, her dad, Clarence (who was killed during World War II), brother, Joseph, and sisters, Judy and Lois.
