Graveside services for Dallas Ivan Pliler, 72, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Howell Valley Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mr. Pliler died at 3:25 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Ozarks Medical Center.  He was born June 17, 1939, at West Plains, Missouri, to Jonah and Ida Thompson Pliler.  On May 28, 1987, he was married at Mountain Home, Arkansas, to Ruby Williams.  Mr. Pliler was a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Pliler, of the family home; two children, Rick Pliler, wife, Pam, and Rob Pliler, both of West Plains, Missouri; four step-children, Delorise Stephens, Denise Brewer, husband, Dennis, Debbie Burnett, all of West Plains, Missouri, and Don Henry, wife, Lisa, Dexter, Missouri; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bill Ellison, wife, Lois, West Plains, Missouri, Gary Pliler, wife, Beverly, Republic, Missouri and Ted Pliler, wife, Brenda, West Plains, Missouri; two sisters, Mildred Young, husband, Jesse and Faye Collins, both of West Plains, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

His parents, one daughter, Rhonda Tackett and one sister, precede him in death.

Mr. Pliler will lie in state from 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2012, until 12:00 Noon Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
