Dan Duane “Rusty” Neely
A memorial service for Dan Duane “Rusty” Neely, 67, Sturkie, Arkansas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Center Grove Baptist Church, Moody, Missouri.
Mr. Neely died at 7:37 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013, at Cox South Medical Center, Springfield, Missouri.
He was born November 18, 1945, at Topeka, Kansas, to Raymond and Hazel Fern Snapp Neely. On December 3, 1965, he was married at Oskaloosa, Kansas, to Sherry A. Price. He was a mechanic and machinist. Mr. Neely was of the Baptist faith and had been a member of Center Grove Baptist Church for fifteen years.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Neely, of the family home; three children, Dannie D. Neely, wife, Keri, Midway, Arkansas, Wendy Renee Neely, Sturkie, Arkansas and Shawn Neely, Calico Rock, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Sean Neely and Meaghan Neely; his biological father, Max Dinwiddie, Lawrence, Kansas; two brothers, Mike Dinwiddie, Topeka, Kansas and Pat Dinwiddie, Maple Hill, Kansas; and three sisters, Vera Gilbert, Topeka, Kansas, Mary Peterson, State of Iowa and Kathy Muniz, Lawrence, Kansas.
His parents, biological mother, Martha Pittman, one sister, Christy Baysinger and step-mother, Irene Dinwiddie, precede him in death.

I am so sorry to read of Rusty’s death. I know him and Sherry as i am from Topeka, KS. and worked at Mike’s IGA for 7 years in the 50’s. Rusty was a very freindly person and helped out wherever he could. I want the family to to know I know he will be greatly missed by all.
I see where your son lives in Midway and we live in Lakeview, AR. Want you all to know you are in our toughts and prayers.

Dear Sherry and family, there are no words to ease your pain and loss of sweet Uncle Rusty!!
He was such a considerate, helpful and good man. You were truely blessed to share him for the years you did. The community will miss him. Keep in touch.
God will comfort you and keep you in this time of pain.

Sherry, my deepest sympathies are with you in your time of sorrow. I know he will be missed greatly.
I met Rusty thru my first wife’s parents the Fosdicks . He was a great guy and fun to be around. My prayers are with you and your family.
