    Slim (as we called him) and I were in Vietnam together. He truly was a good ole boy. What you seen was what you got with Slim. He never put on any airs. I will miss our talks.
    May he rest in Peace. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.

    To all of Slims family;
    I was deeply sadden to here of Slims passing. I served with with him in Viet Naim 1969.
    He was liked by everyone in Bravo Company. He was a real leader and will be missed by all.
    You all have my deepest sympathy.

    I will always remember him in the Missouri Army National Guard, At night you could see him move but you couldn’t hear him. Never will forget him. A good Man. RIP Glen Surritte. You have went to a better place.

    To all the family of Slims Bob and I were deeply sadden to hear of Slims passing. Bob served with him in Viet Nam 1969. May he rest in peace. We will miss our talks with. May God comfort in your time of grief. Bravo company has lost a good man
