Dennis Lee Lapekes, 53, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 10:10 p.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born June 7, 1968, at Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Dennis Loyd Lapekes and Sherry Brotherton Collins.  On November 13, 1986, he was married at West Plains, to Cindy Clark.  Dennis enjoyed classic cars, singing and playing music; he loved taking his grandchildren camping.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Lapekes, of the family home; his mother, Sherry Brotherton Collins, West Plains,  Missouri; his father, Dennis Loyd Lapekes and step-mother, Dee, Grand Rapids, Michigan; his son, David Lapekes and fiancé Summer Carter and their four children, Amber, Kendra, Creed and Raelynn; his son, Dennis Lapekes and wife, Kimberly and their five children, Bryson,  Kayden, Quinton, Hailey and McKenzie; his son, Brian Clark and wife, Leisha and their three children, Trinton, Ramsey and Jameson, all of West Plains; his half-brother, Mark Lapekes, State of Michigan; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

His brother, Tommy Sheldon, step-dad, Don Collins and grandparents, Charles and Ina Brotherton and Louie and Nina Lapekes, preceded him in death.
