Mrs. Brown and Family of Doyle Brown: Doyle came to work during High School with me at the Garrett No. 8, store on East Main St. He was always very business minded and loved he challenges of success. This was borne out in his taking over the family business after his folks retired. Even though we live in Central Arkansas, we just happened to be at Bob Crites Drive-In, and saw Doyle just four hours before his accident. We count ourselves blessed to have come across his path both in years past in business and the day of the accident. Our hearts go out to you and Doyle’s family. Perry and Joyce (Garrett) Prewett

My heart goes out to the family, as I have worked for Brown’s not just once but twice. Although I may have had a difference of opinions at times with this man I certainly had a respect for him. As I got older I learned that a good business ethic was just as important as a good work ethic, and that it takes a strong minded person with a good work ethic to have a successful business. Knowing the owners ( past and present ) of Brown’s, I know that they all have this trait. I am certain that they weren’t born with this trait, even though it may have been instilled in their upbringing, but it is a trait that their hard work has made present. Lots and lots of love to all. I pray for peace, comfort, and understanding through it all.

We are saddened to hear of the death of our friend Doyle Brown. Although the angels in heaven are rejoicing as one of their special people came home to Jesus. So, we too are rejoicing as asking for the comfort that can only cme from Him as He wraps His arms around your family. Doyle was one of the good guys who made everyone around him better. He has been doing that for the 1960 classmates for a long time. May you feel the comfort and love of family, friends and most of all Jesus Himself.
