A memorial service for Genevieve Pearl Crutchfield, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at a later date by her family.

Mrs. Crutchfield died at 11:00 p.m., Friday, September 21, 2012, at West Vue Nursing Center.

She was born November 24, 1922, at Dundis, Minnesota, to Laverne and Florence Thielbar Canedy.   On March 19, 1946, she was married at Yuma, Arizona, to Ralph Morgan Crutchfield.  Mrs. Crutchfield was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Crutchfield, of the family home; four children, Richard Crutchfield, wife, Marsha, Terry Crutchfield, wife, Nancy, Brenda Nichols, husband, Frank and Karen Hubbell, husband, Wayne; eight grandchildren, Keri Licon, Kelli Christensen, husband, Justin, Chad Hubbell, wife, Angela, Cory Hubbell, wife, Elaine, Lisa Ramsey, husband, Mark, Jennifer Jensen, husband, Justin, Travis Crutchfield and Devin Crutchfield; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Oren Canedy and Charles Canedy, wife, Dorothy, one sister-in-law, Doris Canedy; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, three brothers, Harold, Warren and Vernon (Al) Canedy and two sisters, Verna Vogele and Lorraine Cunningham, precede her in death.
