George Logan Frommel, 92, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 9:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Pleasant Valley Manor.

He was born June 27, 1926, at Willow Springs, Missouri, to Hugh L. Frommel and Lena E. Wilson Frommel.  Mr. Frommel was a veteran, having retired as a Petty Officer First Class with the United States Navy; he was a combat veteran of WWII.  He was devoted to his wife, Setsuko, who preceded him in death in 2011.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

His parents, wife, five brothers, H. L. Frommel, Jr., Franklin Frommel, Floyd Frommel, Willard Frommel and Ronald Frommel and two sisters, Helen Bartlett and Erma Johnson, preceded him in death.

A private burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
