Gerald Dean Oliver, 83, Bakersfield, Missouri, passed away at 3:13 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at his home.
He was born April 9, 1938, at Pana, Illinois, to Edgar Oliver and Lola Carlyel Oliver. Mr. Oliver was a veteran, having served with the United States Navy. Before his retirement, he was the custodian at South Fork School. He enjoyed tinkering in his shop.
He is survived by one son, Dwayne Oliver, Bakersfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Curtis Ray Hastings, Kayla Marie Oliver, Cody Oliver and wife, Jessica and Desiree Collins and husband, Richard; and nine great-grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.

I didn’t know him but I know he’s granddaughter kayla.he is resting and chaseing y’all’s Grandma around.He Left a lot of him in u all.

I worked with Jerry for many years at South Fork School. He was great to work with and really cared about the staff and students. I am sure his family will really miss him. My sympathies to all.
