Graveside services for Harry Edwin Ingalsbe, 83, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2014, at Evergreen Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Ingalsbe died at 5:45 a.m., Friday, April 4, 2014, at his home.
He was born May 29, 1930, at West Plains, Missouri, to Harry Otis Ingalsbe and Ella Rasmussen Ingalsbe. He graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1948. On October 21, 1951, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Mary Lou Teague. Mr. Ingalsbe was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy. He was the owner and operator of West Plains Heating & Air for over thirty years. He enjoyed music, raising cattle and farming. Mr. Ingalsbe was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Ingalsbe, of the family home; two sons, Mark Ingalsbe and Andy Ingalsbe, wife, Judy, all of West Plains, Missouri; two granddaughters, Andrea Ingalsbe, Little Rock, Arkansas and Abby Corman, husband, Clint, West Plains, Missouri; three brothers, James "Sonny" Ingalsbe, wife, Louise, West Plains, Missouri, John Ingalsbe, West Plains, Missouri and Howard Lee Ingalsbe, Buckner, Missouri; two sisters, Harriett Sobin, St. Augustine, Florida and Helen Powell, husband, Joe, Monett, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Richard, who was killed during the invasion of Normandy.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hammond Mill Bible Camp, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
