A Memorial service will be held at a later date for Jackie Kay Batesel, 66, Willow Springs, Missouri.

Mrs. Batesel died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at her home.

She was born April 15, 1946, in East St. Louis, Illinois, to Glenn and Lorene McCallister Stults.  On August 6, 1986, she was married at Willow Springs, Missouri, to Bruce Batesel.  Mrs. Batesel had worked at Brown Shoe Factory in Willow Springs, Missouri; she enjoyed Nascar Racing, spending time with family and friends and she especially enjoyed her animals.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Batesel, of the family home; three children, Carl Hicks, wife, Beverly, Willow Springs, Missouri, Wendy Willard, husband, Steve, Willow Springs, Missouri and Danny Joe Hicks, wife, Carla, Pomona, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jerod Hicks, Joel Hicks, wife, Christy, Joshua Hicks, Lindsey Aldridge and Jacob Wood; one great-grandson, Hunter Hicks; two very special "adopted" sons, J.D. Cox and Jeff Hicks; and one brother, Jerry Stults, Belleville, Illinois.

Her parents and one brother, Michael Stults, precede her in death.
