Visitation services for Jason Gregory Spurling, 14, West Plains, Missouri, will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2012, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Jason died at 7:25 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2012, at Ozarks Medical Center.  He was born October 25, 1997, at West Plains, Missouri, to Gregory and Debbie Haney Spurling.  He was in the eighth grade at West Plains Middle School, had a paper route and volunteered at Fishland.  He loved skateboarding, animals and music.  Jason attended Central Calvary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Debbie Spurling, fiancé Thomas Roberson, of the family home; two brothers, Michael and Weston Spurling, both of West Plains, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Francis Barnhard, Kansas City, Missouri; special family, Cory Roberts and Kila Busby; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

His father, grandparents, Norma and Cletus Haney, grandfather, Dr. Marvin Spurling and step-sister, Kimberly Spurling, precede him in death.

Memorials may be made to Robert Neathery Skate Park and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
