A Memorial Service for Joan Audrey Pettit, 85, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 30, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pettit passed away at 8:35 p.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017 at NHC Healthcare.

She was born July 14, 1932, at Staten Island, New York, to Roland L. Dustin and Catherine E. Graham Dustin.  On January 24, 1953, she was married at Long Island, New York, to Dean Pettit, who preceded her in death on May 28, 2009.  Mrs. Pettit was a nurse practitioner.  She enjoyed her work as a nurse and was active in church.  Mrs. Pettit was a member of First Christian Church.

She is survived by four children, Paul Pettit and wife, Kathy, Keith Pettit, Guy Pettit and Catherine Friga and husband, Rodney; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Her parents, husband, one grandson and one brother, preceded her in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Outreach or West Plains Public Library Children's Section and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
