I met Ms. Dobbs through her daughter, Sue Erdmann. The three of us shared many luncheons together around town. I share the grief of her family, especially that of Sue. She loved and cared for her mother with all her heart and I know that this is a great loss to her. She will be in all my thoughts and prayers as will the rest of Ms. Dobbs family.

To all of Ms. Dobbs family, please accept my condolence. Our older generations are such a precious connection to keeping us grounded. Grandmothers are most precious, so sorry Ms. Tina.

    Sincerely,

I was so sorry to hear about Lois. She was a very special lady. When my mom had a heart attack when I was in highschool I called Lois and Ed because I didn’t know what else to do and they came right up to ST. Louis. I have never forgotten that or the times visiting and playing with the horses down there. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love ya cousins!

I certainly loved Lois and her family, and will miss Lois when I come to West Plains. Her Mother, Syble Holbrook, was my aunt. I’ll always remember the Holbrook farm and the welcome we always felt when we came to visit our Aunt, our Cousins and their children. I pray that Louise and Suzy will know that they are in my thoughts and prayers and that I will come by to visit if I ever get to come again. The last visit I had there, I asked Lois to “Please give the the “Fried Pie” recipe.” I know it is sort of a Family Treasure. But she not only gave me the recipe but she showed me and my daughter, Stephanie, how to make them! They are now a favorite of our family too! Love you all, and Pray that you will follow Lois as she followed Christ!
