The only thing greater than Lura’s love for her family was their love for her. Her cooking was “above and beyond” and I always planned on gaining about 5 lbs whenever I visited. She was an absolutely wonderful lady.

Grammar has touched so many lives that are way to numerous to begin to mention. I know that she was a wonderful lady, who loved everyone of her family. I forever will be greatful that she claimed me as one of her own no matter what was going on around us through the years. I watched her buy cartloads of food at Wal-Mart and cart cart loads of clothes at the thrift shops to help her family out as they were all raising their kids, and grand s, & even great grands.

That made her happy, and she had good taste. Matter of fact one of the first things I told her when I got in too ICU to see her was, I’ve already been to the thrift shop today and got all the bargains! 🙂 That raised a smile on her face. I will miss running into her every little bit cause I always got a hug, but she’s happy now, rIght where she wants to be. Love you forever Grammar.

I promise one thing she was the best woman in the world. I spent a lot of time with her. Been thinking about her daily and all the things she said. Can’t help but smile. She was one of a kind. .. She could cook the best food. I would wake up to food cooking. Smelling so good. Amazing lady. Never forget her making Roger and Clarence row all us around the pond. 🙂

I miss you now, and I’ll miss you always. You were such a blessing in my life Grammer, and will always be one. You didn’t have to love me, but you did, and I’m so glad you did! 24 years I’ve been blessed to have you here with me, and now the rest if my time on earth, I’ll spend missing you! I promise every yard sale I visit, I’ll think of you. Every ooey gooey butter cake I taste, I’ll remember yours. This world is already so different without you Grammer, and I miss you terribly! Give Dad, Wesley, Uncle James, and everyone else hugs and loves from me! I’ll love you for forever , and always. -Love Kimberly!
