A Memorial Mass for Margaret Delores Short, 93, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, followed by a luncheon.

Mrs. Short passed away at 6:20 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2022, at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born December 5, 1928, at Chicago, Illinois, to Melburn Grumley and Augustina Pollato Grumley.  On September 30, 1950, she was married at Chicago, Illinois, to Willis (Willy) Everett Short, who preceded her in death on December 20, 2001.  Mrs. Short had worked in retail with K-Mart and Wal-Mart.  She and her husband retired and moved to West Plains in 1993.  She enjoyed ceramics.  Mrs. Short was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She leaves behind her many friends, caregivers and her pet companion, Toro.

Her parents and husband preceded her in death.
