A Memorial Service for Marvin Russell Mercer, 68, Peace Valley, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2016 at Victory Chapel Church, Peace Valley, Missouri.

Mr. Mercer passed away at 6:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born October 9, 1947, at Bakersfield, California, to Everett Howard Mercer, Sr. and Josephine Salveggio Mercer.  On March 20, 1982, he was married at Las Vegas, Nevada, to Shirley Ann Franks, who preceded him in death on February 14, 2014.   He was a loving husband, uncle and friend.

He is survived by one brother, Everett H. Mercer, Jr., Houston, Missouri and one sister, Linda Farr, Bakersfield, California.

His parents and wife precede him in death.
