Michael Alex Williams, 57, West Plains, Missouri, died at 9:50 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2013, at NHC Healthcare.

He was born September 3, 1955, at Springfield, Missouri, to Louis Alexander "Alex" Williams and Bonnie Arlene Arnett Williams.  In October of 1990, he was married to Brenda Hunter.  He was part owner of Williams Discount Liquidations.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Williams, of the family home; five children, Adam Williams, wife, Mindy and Megan Williams, all of West Plains, Missouri, Stacy Denton, husband, Keith, Fairland, Oklahoma, Brandon Hunter, wife, Camisha, West Plains, Missouri and Shanna Harrell, husband, Chris, of State of Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Roger Williams, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Shirley Sue Click, husband, Randall, Monett, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents precede him in death.
