Graveside services for Robert Michael Long, 71, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2019 at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Long passed away at 12:53 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at his home.

He was born January 14, 1948, at West Plains, Missouri, to Robert T. Long and Emma Jean Gray Long.  Mr. Long was a veteran, having served with the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.  On January 23, 1976, he was married at Miami, Oklahoma, to Karen Garlock.  Before his retirement, Mike was a truck driver for Yellow Freight.  He was a member of Teamsters and was a 32 ^nd degree Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Long; two children, Vanessa Findley and husband, Drew and Robert Long, II, two grandsons, Nicholas and Keldon Findley; one brother, Ronald Long and wife, Bethel; two sisters, Ann Cannon and Debbie Long; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, one son, Jared Long and one sister, Joan Collins, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to OMC Cancer Treatment Center and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
