A celebration of life service for Barbara Carla Meagher, 78, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at her home located at 221 Hynes Street, West Plains, Missouri.

Mrs. Meagher passed away at 1:16 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at her home.

She was born July 21, 1940, at Memphis, Tennessee, to L. R. Bledsoe and Hazel Mae Wilkes Bledsoe.  On May 13, 1985, she was married in the State of Arkansas, to Walter "Wally" Meagher, who preceded her in death on March 10, 2010.  Mrs. Meagher enjoyed volunteering in her community; she loved people and would help anyone in any way that she could.  She also loved animals.  Mrs. Meagher was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She is survived by six children; one son-in-law; one daughter-in-law; twelve grandchildren; thirty plus great-grandchildren; and two nieces.

Her parents, husband, one sister and one brother, preceded her in death.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to the West Plains Regional Animal Shelter and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
