Graveside services for Bobby Joel York, 75, Koshkonong, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2022 at Meltabarger Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. York passed away at 9:35 p.m., Monday, June 13, 2022, peacefully at his home.

He was born April 23, 1947, at Camp, Arkansas, to Avril York and Vida Louise Banning York.  On July 31, 1965, he was married at Viola, Arkansas, to Polly Sanders.  Mr. York was a driver and manager at MFA Oil for thirty-four years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing dominos.  His faith was in Jesus Christ.  Mr. York was a member of Moko Church of Christ.

He is survived by  his wife, Polly York, of the family home; two children, Dean York and James York and wife, Missy, all of Koshkonong, Missouri; three grandchildren, Corey, Courtney and Caitlyn York; three brothers, Randall York and wife, Ruth, Ava, Missouri, Joie York and wife, Edna, Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and Michael York, Preston,  Missouri; four sisters, Sondra Burgess and husband, Kenneth, West Plains, Karen Dahlquist and husband, James, Hollister, Missouri, Connie James, Reed Springs, Missouri and Lea Ann Harper and husband, Kyle, Springfield, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents and one brother, Ronnie York, preceded him in death.
