Charles R. Forsythe, 59, West Plains, Missouri, died at 5:16 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2013, at West Vue Nursing Center.

He was born September 24, 1953, at Kansas City, Missouri, to Arthur J. Forsythe and Charline M. Thruston Buck.  He was a great lover of books and music.  Chuck was a very spiritual man; II Timothy Chapter 4, Verses 6-8 was a favorite.

He is survived by his mother, Charline Buck, West Plains, Missouri; his father and step-mother, Arthur and Valerie Forsythe, Sarasota, Florida; one brother, Robert Forsythe, wife, Jo, Liberty, Missouri; two sisters, Amy Herman, husband, Gregg, San Diego, California and Julie Hederman, husband, Joe, St. Louis, Missouri; 4 nieces and nephews, Allison and Christopher Hederman and Beth and Matthew Herman.

His grandparents and step-father, Phil Buck, precede him in death.

The family would like to honor Chuck's love of books and music, and request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the West Plains Library.  Contributions may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
