Obituary

Funeral services for Daniel “Danny” B. Cline, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2026, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Cline went home to his heavenly father on November 5, 2026. He was born on the banks of the Eleven Point River on February 22, 1940, near Greer, Missouri, to Oran and Geneva (Alcorn) Cline. Danny was married to Donna Campbell in the Hickory Grove Community, on September 2, 1961 and they were blessed to share 53 wonderful years together.

After graduating high school, Danny attended electrical trade school in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1963 he began a 50-year career with Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative where many coworkers became loved like family. After work, he would come home and enjoy dinner with his family before heading off to another job. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family in the only way he knew how—with a heart of gold, an unwavering work ethic, and faith that the Lord would always provide. His dedication allowed Donna to stay home and care for their children. Danny was a dedicated member of First Free Will Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for over 50 years. His passion was serving Christ and witnessing for his Lord and Savior which was evident in every conversation with him. Throughout his life, he could frequently be found hunting, fishing, or going to yard sales with family and friends. He loved going to gun shows, including having his own booth, and passing on the history of each gun to his grandchildren.

Daniel loved and prayed for his family every single day. During family gatherings he could often be found praying over those he loved. He is survived by 3 children Ramona Talburt, Scott and wife Tina Cline, Monica and husband Brandon Tate; 5 grandchildren Grant (Clancy) Talburt, Seth (Kirsten) Talburt, Caleb Cline, Elissa Tate, and Madison Cline; 2 great-grandchildren Henry and Asher Talburt; and another baby Talburt on the way; sisters-in-law Denna (Cleve) Warren and Mary Campbell; along with many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, son-in-law Wayne Talburt; brother Keith (Mildred) Cline; 2 sisters Linda (Kenneth) Wiggs and Danielle Miller; his second set of parents (Donna’s parents) Sam and Murl Campbell; brothers-in-law Cecil and Jack (Imogene) Campbell; and nephew, Ricky Campbell.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Sunday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Huddleston Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Gideon Bible Society and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
