Funeral services for David Wayne Hoglen, 66, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 11, 2013 in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Hoglen died 3:30 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013 at his home. He was born August 3,1947 at West Plains, Missouri the son of Mary Lucille King Hoglen and the late Ralph Hoglen.  On July 27, 1969, he was married at West Plains, Missouri to Patricia Wright.  Before his retirement, Mr. Hoglen was employed as the purchasing agent for the City of West Plains for over forty years.  Also, he was a volunteer fireman for the City of West Plains for twenty-three years and for the Howell County Rural Fire Department.  Mr. Hoglen was a Christian and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Hoglen, of the family home; four children, Carrie Mulkey, husband, Dan, Eric Hoglen, wife, Emilie, Thomas Hoglen and Christopher Hoglen, all of West Plains, Missouri; two grandchildren, Kristianne Mulkey and Stephen Mulkey; his mother, Lucille Hoglen, West Plains, Missouri; and one sister, Judith Goodwin, husband, Robert, West Plains, Missouri.

His father preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
