Graveside services for Dorothy Evelyn Stubbs, 80, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Gospel Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Stubbs passed away at 11:20 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Brooke Haven Health Care.

She was born October 10, 1939, at Crider, Missouri, to Grover and Artie Fox.  On March 24, 1961, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Wayne Stubbs.  Before her retirement, Dorothy worked at Marathon Electric for over twenty years. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was a wonderful cook; no one can make rolls like mom could. Mrs. Stubbs was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Wayne Stubbs; three children, Gary Stubbs and wife, Tamara, Gail Colvin and husband, Steve and Greg Stubbs and wife, Marion all of West Plains; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Elizabeth, Zachary, Geoffery and Brandon; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Elvis Fox, Ozark, Missouri and Glen Fox, Boise, Idaho; sister-in-law, Faye Fox, Swedeborg, Missouri; special niece, Rhonda Hollingshad, West Plains; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, two brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Stubbs will lie in state from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Hill Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO  65775.
