Obituary

Funeral services for Emma Lee Wiese, 57, of Willow Springs, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2026, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Emma passed away on July 8, 2026, at Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Emma was born on November 8, 1968, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Donald Milford Lane and Marie Louise Shanks (Sahlman).

On December 13, 1985, Emma married the love of her life, Dane Wiese, in Willow Springs. Together they shared more than 40 years of marriage and, as her family described it, 45 wonderful years together, having been together since the eighth grade. Their enduring love and devotion were a testimony to everyone who knew them.

Family was the center of Emma's life. She found great joy in singing gospel music, spending time with her beloved grandchildren, and especially cherished the special bond she shared with her granddaughter, "Katy Bug." She also enjoyed baking with her grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Those who knew Emma will remember her as a kind, compassionate, generous, and selfless woman who always put her family first. She lived her life caring for those around her and faithfully demonstrating Christ's love through her actions. She was a faithful member of Little Zion Baptist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life.

Emma is survived by her devoted husband, Dane Wiese of Willow Springs, Missouri; two sons, Coatney Wiese and Billy Wiese and wife, Brittany, all of Willow Springs; nine grandchildren, Joshua Wiese, Jacob Brotherton, Jase Brotherton, Jenson Brotherton, Keiden Wiese, William Wiese, Justice George, Bentley George, and Syrenitee George; her mother, Marie Shanks; two brothers, Steven Lane and wife, Holly, of Willow Springs and Scott Lane and wife, Brea, of West Plains; one sister, Rhonda Brooks and husband, Jason; one brother-in-law, David Wiese; three sisters-in-law, Sheryl Ford, Mo Luton, and Krista Wiese; many nieces and nephews; and her faithful furry companion, Odie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Milford Lane; her son, Brian Matthew Wiese; her parents-in-law, Arnold and JoAnn Wiese; and her granddaughter, BryceLynn George.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family and can be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Hom, 211 W Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
