Graveside services will be held at a later date for Gary Anthony Meidell, 74, Caulfield, Missouri.

Mr. Meidell died at 5:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at his home.

He was born November 4, 1937, at Wichita, Kansas, to Anthony Andrew "Tony" Meidell and Madge Dickerson Meidell.  On December 27, 1965, he was married at Wichita, Kansas, to Betty Long.  Mr. Meidell was a veteran having served with the United States Marines.  He enjoyed fishing and was the owner of Northwestern Hunting and Fishing Camp.  Mr. Meidell was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Meidell, of the family home; two children, Mike Meidell, wife, Jalynn and Brenda Gibson, all of West Plains, Missouri; and one grandchild, Danny Hopkins, Springfield, Missouri.

His parents preceded him in death.
