Genevieve Agnes Thompson, 87, West Plains, died 9:00 p.m., Saturday, August 4, 2012 at her home.

Mrs. Thompson was born December 16, 1924 at Gillette, Wyoming to Fred and Edith Kelly.  On August 17, 1946, she was married to Lonzo Thompson who preceded her in death on June 9, 1981.  Before her retirement, Mrs. Thompson was employed by the Brass Lantern and Sharp's Cafe.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by twelve children, Louise Thompson, Lonnie Thompson, partner, Sheila, Terry Thompson, partner, Sheila,  Josephine Thompson, Janice Thompson, Marie Mallory, and A. Esther Thompson, all of West Plains, Violet Curtis, husband, Reggie, Mountain Grove, Missouri, Edith Cox, Cabool, Missouri, Mary Kendele,Tarkio, Missouri, Wilma King, Springfield, Missouri and Judy Doss, husband, Tony, Peace Valley, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, including Benny and Jessica; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters.

Her parents, husband, one daughter, Betty King and one son, Jimmy Thompson, precede her in death.

Memorials services will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Family and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
