Graveside services for Georgia Ruth Birdsong, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Oak Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Birdsong passed away at 9:09 p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2021, at her home.

She was born June 4, 1932, at Shelby Gap, Kentucky, to Dewy and Mary Laws.  On March 29, 1974, she was married in the State of Arizona, to Clemmen Cornelius Birdsong, who preceded her in death on November 6, 2011.  She loved her family and her dog, Tuffy.  Georgia enjoyed cooking, baking, watching sports and going out to eat with her husband before his death.

She is survived by five children, Larry Duvall and wife, Glenda, Louisville, Kentucky, Rocky Duvall and wife, Sherry, Anadarko, Oklahoma, Darlene Duvall, Chickasha, Oklahoma, Sherry Lee Reyes, Anadarko, Oklahoma and James Wesley Duvall, West Plains, Missouri; two step-sons, Larry Birdsong and wife, Kathy, Mesa, Arizona and Leroy Birdsong and wife, Sharon, Tucson, Arizona; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews

Her parents, husband, two daughters, Roxanne Davis and Earlene Duvall, three brothers and two sisters, preceded her in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO  65775.
