John David Collins, 69, West Plains, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at his home.

He was born June 17, 1954, at Landstuhl, Rheinlanf, Germany, to Robert Eugene Collins and Una Nadine Farris Collins.  On January 22, 1977, he was married at Philadelphia, Mississippi, to Brenda McGee.  Mr. Collins was a veteran, having served with the United States Air Force.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing and video games.  He loved his wife and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Collins; two children, Michael Collins and wife, Carrie and Rebecca Hutchings and husband, Kirk, all of West Plains; five grandchildren, Kyle Addison, Shonti Addison, Morgan Collins, Lucas Collins and Shelby  Hutchings; his mother, Una Nadine Collins; one brother, Robert (Bob) Collins, St. Louis, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

His father and one brother, James (Jim) Collins, preceded him in death.
