Graveside services for Judith Lauraine Trayler, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2026, at Pottersville Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Trayler passed away at 10:11 p.m., Sunday, September 6, 2026 at her home.

She was born August 16, 1940, at Parma, Idaho, to Harold Roy White and Evalena Sloan White Graton. On September 6, 1959, she was married at Stockton, California, to Merrill (Lee) Trayler, who preceded her in death on August 14, 2026. She was a wonderful homemaker and business woman. Judith owned and operated one of the first licensed daycares in California for over 35 years; in her later years she found tremendous joy in raising Yorkshire Terriers and Himalayan cats as a hobby. She retired to southern Missouri with her husband of 67 years in 1993. Judy was a wonderful wife and mother who was deeply dedicated to her family and adored her grandchildren. Her greatest loves were her husband, children and her sweet little yorkie, Cook-E. She enjoyed many things including needlework, traveling with her daughter and gardening. She loved flowers and every summer she had a yard full of blooming plants. Judy was deeply nurturing and her unconditional love and gentleness will be missed every day.

She is survived by her daughter, Kandi, and husband, Doug Stroud, West Plains, Missouri; her two sons, Randall “Randy” Trayler and wife, Sherry, of Australia and Russell “Layne” Trayler, Pottersville, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Flint Phillips, Kyria Stroud and Felicia Mock.

Her parents and husband preceded her in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pottersville Cemetery, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
