Obituary

Larry Bruce Drollinger, 75, of Tecumseh, Missouri, passed away on July 9, 2026. He was born on October 22, 1950, to John Samuel Drollinger and Crystal “Betty” Olive Roberson‑Drollinger.

Larry lived a life defined by skill, kindness, and quiet strength. A proud Vietnam Veteran, he served his country in the United States Army with honor. His hands were rarely still, he had a remarkable gift for restoring cars, fixing anything placed in front of him, and bringing old things back to life. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his love for animals. Many knew him as an “animal whisperer,” someone who connected with creatures great and small in a way few could understand.

He is survived by his sisters, Sherry Castetter and husband Paul of Indiana, and Terry Drollinger of California, who carry forward his memory with love.

His parents precede him in death.

Larry’s legacy is one of generosity, craftsmanship, and deep compassion. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his ability to mend what was broken, and the gentle way he cared for the world around him.
