Lenard Franklin Madden, 71, Thayer, Missouri, passed away at 7:15 p.m., Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Shady Oaks Health Care.

He was born March 24, 1955, at Thayer, Missouri, to Frank Allen Madden and Alice Jane Hines Madden. Mr. Madden was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and had been the custodian at Koshkonong School for a number of years.

He is survived by one daughter, Ashley Forester, Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; one grandson, Jace Forester, Barksdale Air Force Base, Bossier, Louisiana; one brother, Clifford Madden and wife, Tina, Thayer, Missouri; one sister, Debra Creasy, Koshkonong, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Avis Walker and Daniel Howell.

His parents, two brothers, Robert and Roy Bruce Madden, one sister, Barbara Powell and one niece, Deloris Powell Wooldridge, preceded him in death.
