Graveside services for Lonnie Ray Johnson, 83, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Willow Springs No. 2 Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnson passed away at 10:20 a.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at his home.

He was born May 29, 1943 in Ozark County, Missouri, to Herlin Johnson and Arlene Ruth Thompson Johnson. On October 4, 1959, he was married in Ozark County, to Scharlotte Ann Martin. Mr. Johnson was the Pastor at Willow Springs 2nd Freewill Baptist Church for twenty-three years and dearly loved his church family. He had worked for several years as service manager at Don’s Auto Service. Mr. Johnson enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, guns and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan; he also enjoyed birthdays, but especially enjoyed his birthday. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Scharlotte Johnson, of the family home; three children, Lonnie Gregory Johnson and wife, Vicki, West Plains, Missouri, Rebecca Ann Blake and husband, Raymond, West Plains, Missouri and Tracey Marie Clayton and husband, Doug, Columbia, Missouri; one brother, Troy Lee Johnson, Twin Bridges, Missouri; two sisters, Anna Lou Loring and Jean Ellen Bell, both of West Plains; six grandchildren, Brandon Blake, Keena Simpson and husband, Daniel, Chad Johnson and wife, Kamron, Shaina Fare and husband, Robby, Ariel Clayton and Andrew Clayton and wife, Taylor; twelve great-grandchildren, Aiden, Macie and Alyvia Simpson, Faith Eckerman, Braylin, Addison, Peyton and Rowan Fare, Miles Clayton, Mia Edwards, Grayson Clayton and Caroline Clayton; one great-great-grandchild, AvanaRose Eckerman; several nieces and nephews; and many, friends

His parents and in-laws, Nova and Flo Martin preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Willow Springs No. 2 Cemetery, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
