Marianne Louise Matejek, 77, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 8:19 a.m., Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Brooke Haven Healthcare.

She was born June 25, 1946, at North Redding, Massachusetts, to Edward and Alice Neudeck Stevens.  Marianne loved her family more than anything; she always put her children and grandchildren first.  She especially loved going to visit her sister and spending time at the beach.  Mrs. Matejek was a lifelong Christian with unwavering faith.  Accordingn to her children, her mission in life was Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it."

She is survived by her former husband and lifelong friend, Frank Matejek, West Plains; two children, John Matejek and wife, Ashley and Christina Matejek, all of West Plains; four grandchildren, Isabel, Mason, Easton and Ashlen Matejek, all of West Plains; one brother, Edward Stevens and wife, Renee, Gainesville, Georgia; one sister, Laurie Bresson and husband, Fred, Blairsville, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents preceded her in death.
