Melissa Ann Lawson, 43, Pomona, Missouri, passed away at 1:45 p.m., Friday, November 24, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

She was born May 21, 1980, at West Plains, Missouri, to Dennis Roy Brixey and Linda Daugherty.  Ms. Lawson loved her family.

She is survived by four children, Emilee Hicks, West Plains, Missouri, Ethan Lawson, West Plains, Missouri, Eli Reynolds, West Plains, Missouri, and Noah Madden, Columbia, Missouri; her mother, Linda Lovan, West Plains, Missouri; one brother, Dennis Brixey and wife, Phyllis, Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Charolette Horn and husband, Bobby, Columbia, Missouri, and Lisa Jesse and husband, Ty, Mountain View, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Her father, Dennis Roy Brixey, preceded her in death.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
