A Celebration of Life Service for Ninfa G. Tijerina, 76, West Plains, Missouri, will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tijerina passed away at 2:40 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Brooke Haven Healthcare.
She was born March 8, 1950, at Gonzalez, Texas, to Prajedres and Antonia Gonzalez Tijerina. Ninfa enjoyed getting dressed up and going to singing and dances. Bingo was another pastime that she enjoyed. Ninfa was very family oriented; she loved hosting and attending family gatherings. She loved her family and especially cherished her grandchildren. Ninfa had a wonderful sense of humor and a big personality.
She is survived by one daughter, Soledad Ellis (Joyce); three grandchildren, Antonia Perrett, Julia Goforth (Maverick) and Amalia Perrett; five great-grandchildren, Jayden, Alyssa, Elena, Emily and Mira; two brothers, Charlie Tijerina (Delores) and Antonio Tijerina (Dora); and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, two brothers, Jose and Pete Tijerina and two sisters, Martha Tijerina and Clara Skinner, preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
