Funeral services for Pearlena Dunn “Pearl” Hickman, 86, Koshkonong, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hickman passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, surrounded by family at Ozarks Health Care after a short illness.
Pearl was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and the gentle way she touched the lives of everyone she met. She loved the Lord and had a wonderful spirit.
Pearl was born in Amarillo, Texas, on August 28, 1939, where she lived with her family until relocating to Arkansas, where she met her husband, Ray, and was married in 1958. After high school and marriage, she moved to St. Charles, Missouri, where she graduated with a degree as an L.P.N. from St. Joseph Hospital and began her career as surgical nurse. Following her retirement, she and her husband moved to Rover, Missouri, where they began a cattle farm operation. She was a faithful member of the Shiloh Baptist Church and loved her church family.
Pearl is survived by two sons, Everett and wife, Patricia of Decatur, Arkansas, and John and wife, Sally of Pomona, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Bill, two grandchildren, two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the family plot at Dutch Mills, Arkansas. Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
